Yes, a morning routine. I'm a pretty easy going person, but I'm positively neurotic about my morning routine. I have it down to the minute.

Tbh, I joined 16 years ago. I can't remember the ins and outs of how/when I came to find CF and join.

So. Many. Good. Ones.

Okay. ...The scene with Frodo and Sam climbing up Mount Doom in Return of the King and Frodo finally collapses from exhaustion and despair. Sam holds Frodo in his arms, talks kindly to him about memories of the Shire in hopes to stir some strength back into him. Frodo is too spent. So Sam, frail and exhausted himself, and knowing he can't physically carry the Ring for Frodo to the fires of Mount Doom, hoists Frodo on his back and carries him the rest of the way.

Toss up between manipulative or narcissist tendencies, just being all around unkind, and poor hygiene... All huge turn offs.

1905, February. The cruel city is as unrelentingly cold as it is unrelentingly dark. It's as if the sun's forsaken our lovely sewer rat's derriere of a town, and with it, all our wicked little miss-fits, psychos, deviants, weirdos, killers, thieves, leg-breakers, con men, and the bloody door to door salesmen alike. Here I am- up to my neck in it- wishing I was anywhere elsewhere- when a knock sounds at my door. Will it be a damsel in distress? Or a tough with a big gun and a bigger grudge? Life ain't easy for a down on his luck P.I in a devil town.
(Okay I got a little carried away, but the question was a perfect setup, so don't blame me! )

10) Do you have a routine?

Kinda, work days, I get up same time, shower, get ready, and head for work. I wish I had more of a routine at work, but unfortunately I have to be more flexible and the second I clock in, it becomes a triage situation, prioritizing, and executing.

How long ago was it? 2014? Oof!
I joined because I was bored, and desperate for human interaction, I'll admit it

12) What movie scene would you love to act out?

Something with snappy dialogue. Maybe the scene in Casablanca where Captain Renault grills Rick about why he's in Casablanca and why he left America, why he can't go back. It's packed full of great one liners: "I like to think you killed a man. It's the romantic in me."

At night, right before bed, totally alone with my prayers, nowhere else to be, no interruptions.

I wish I could tell people I am a dancer, or an herbalist, but right now I am just a Nanny.

I have a Tik-Tok account but I've never posted anything. Mostly I just follow it to watch my little sisters Tik-Toks.

I guess it would really depend on the person and what sort of chemistry we have together. Some people I think it would feel so natural and sweet for these, while others it would be awkward. If I had to choose it would be a silly song randomly made-up on the spot. That'd be so dorky and cute.

It's top secret because someday I plan to move there and hide away from the world.

Otherwise Narnia or some magical world.

When I think of CFer and colors I think of @Multifavs! Purple and blue are the first colors that come mind, but I imagine her in many colors!

Controlling, possessive, or lacking empathy.

Considering that time period for women, I'm guessing I would most likely be washing cloth diapers every day and taking care of household duties. I think though that I would have enjoyed being a seamstress. I love the fashion of the Edwardian era...the lovely dresses, corsets, and brooches. Besides that the women's hairstyles back in those days were to die for!!!

I was 19 and had recently bought my first laptop. My brother had been showing me some hunting forums he was part of so I decided to try searching for some forums that interested me too. That's how I came to finding CF.

I think perhaps some dance scene from an old movie! I remember seeing the most amazing dance scene in an older movie but I no longer remember what the movie was called.
Otherwise maybe something from Chitty Chitty Bang Bang, Mary Poppins or The Sound of Music. lol

Since there were a lot of people dancing in the scene I am thinking of, I am sure I would need all active members in CF Singles to dance with for the scene.

Times of solitude and meditation.

Oh I highly recommend it, Miss Somber. Especially if you are a Tim Curry fan. There's pretty much an all-star cast here and each and every one of them are highly entertaining. And it was good as a mystery for me to try to unravel on my own when I first watched it. ^-^

I wish it would have worked out for me to be a stay at home mama, and if not that I would have loved a flexible/creative route like a YouTuber. But I'm pretty okay with the Elementary Teacher path I'm pursuing as a third place choice.

No... but I don't have one and haven't explored it much. I don't vehemently hate it, so that's something!

I think I'd win the life lottery if I got to be with a romantic significant other at all. All three are cool, but if I had to pick an ultimate dream one I'd choose songs. I picture Ewan McGregor in Moulin Rouge serenading me -leswoon-

I loved living in Santa Fe, but the healthcare and schools there were pretty bad so it couldn't be a long term thing. I think most any place is what you make of it, so I'm happy to be close to family and far from harsh winters.

Gosh, I don't even remember anymore. I've had so many lives on CF. I think I was in college the first time I found this place- I've always had a bit of a lonely hear that sought community and that keeps pulling me back.

When I'm in nature. I love feeling small on a hike. I feel like creation so loudly glorifies God and when I feel small in His bigness it feels safe and beautiful.

I used to be. My favorite church used to have "hug and pray" at the end of every service and that was my jam. It's weird now in a post-COVID world though. I never want to initiate because I don't know people's boundaries.

Well TaB died in 2020, so now I'd say my go-to is black tea on ice and my favorite to have on occasion is a good red wine.
