Yes, but it depends on how you define "family."
My sister in Christ, a friend of mine who I met while teaching in Korea, came to visit me already! She came the 24th in the morning, and she just left today. She's also an ESL teacher like myself. It was so awesome to have her come visit!

Do you have plans for New Year's Eve?
