Announcements will be made in the respective forums as well but please note that if yours is currently listed as Private, you will need to submit a ticket in the Support Area to have yours changed.

  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

Sometimes I get so frustarated and stressed out at work. I try to calm myself down and think "what would Jesus do?" but it's so hard to imagine Jesus working at my job. (I'm bet you probablly feel the same way). Jesus was a carpenter, but did He have to put up with an annoying boss or deal with an excessive work load and regulations?

Anybody ever felt this way before?

Better to focus on how blessed you are to have a job with so many out of work.

I know. I try, but it's not easy, especially knowing that many of the Americans who are out of work would rather starve than be seen working at a job like mine.

If you don't like your job, try this one!

Sell everything you have, and become a farmer. It's a nice life, winter is basically a big long vacation, with a Lucky Farmer's Inc. Christmas Party as the frosting on the cake. No worries, just sit back in your air conditioned tractor cab, and listen to some baptist minister on some AM channel that barely comes in.

If you're more of an outdoor, labourer you can always skip the traditional crops for orchard's. Long, sweaty days of back breaking labor, but nothing more closer to the beauty of nature. I did that for two years, and I have to admit, I'm a bit lazy and got out of that. :p

Best of luck to you with your job though. Hopefully you will find something that you enjoy soon.

Thanks. It's just a temporary job to pay for school, but I've already been working there for almost 3 years. I was ready to quit after my first week.
