Time is ticking, words are pricking,
With most folks the words not sticking –
Taking shelter in their covers,
Going after other lovers.
Dancing dances, taking chances,
Looking for more new romances,
Happenstances, stealing glances,
In his pride the ruler prances.
His dominion, he’s the leader,
Fleshly lusts, they are his feeder.
Perfect setups are his steps up
To whatever gets him stirred up.
Live by feelings and bad dealings,
Lying, cheating, looks they’re stealing,
Truth has now been torn asunder,
Lies are now what their mouths thunder.
Sad so many lies a plenty
Taking over lives in envy.
So, so many will not listen
To the Bible, godly wisdom.

“And this is the judgment: the light has come into the world, and people loved the darkness rather than the light because their works were evil. For everyone who does wicked things hates the light and does not come to the light, lest his works should be exposed” (John 3:19-20 ESV).
