It took 7 months for us and I was starting to believe that we might not be able to conceive naturally, and the last few months I was swallowing back the disappointment each month...so I can *kind of* understand

Same here.

I'm not sure how to word this question but I am curious to how often you guys are trying. What outside information are you using to see when you are most fertile?

I'm noticing many of you are still in your twenties. Praise the Lord there is time!! He KNOWS your desire, believe me. I gave birth to our son at 34. He will turn 1 in a few weeks and I'll be 35 in June. I do wonder about his life and how long I will be a part of it. I also would like a second child but wonder about the medical complications of being older. If it is to be, then God will make it so. Trust in Him with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding... acknowledge Him in all your ways, and He will direct your path.

With love,
Marcy
Thank you for you encouraging comment. Though I do need to add that just because we are in our twenties and having trouble TTC and many conceive later on in life does not make our current situation any less painful for us. I don't think you meant it that way but I just felt the need to speak up on that. So many people tell me this and it really doesn't help my feels about the situation at all.

This may be a stupid question... but have you used www.fertilityfriend.com ? I assume you are charting, its kind of a cool online charting thing :)

I don't know if it would be worse to be TTC and it's not happening or to be in my shoes having to wait a year or two to go TTC.....
Either way, it's SO HARD to hear about family members getting pregnant! It really makes me think twice about telling childless married people when my day finally comes.

You keep making me sooo sad.... I'll talk to your husband and tell him you guys need to have baby now. :sorry: Couldn't you take your baby to nanny with you? You can just wear the baby

I don't think Amanda would want to share:) Seriously, though, I don't think I could handle the job pressure mixed with the "I'm a new mommy and I"m exhausted" thing.
I really like your new look, by the way. You even sprung for the super expensive sandals, I see.

I've had these sandals all along! They were the first thing I bought :D
