The Word of God

I am reading Joshua at the moment and it is exciting, not to say I haven't read the stories before. They have been preached on many times over the years of attending Church and before that Sunday School.
I read in Joshua 1:8

An encounter with the living God, such a time is precious

so many ways to describe the Word of God...

Your Word,O God is my daily Bread!

'Search me oh'God to see if there be any wicked way in me', wash me of any remnant hostility to You in Your blood and by Your word!

This is a lovely verse and really speaks to me

I love to eat the fresh,wholesome,bread of life and drink from the loving well of salvation!

God and His Word come first!

The Word of God is so importent to our daily spiritual development

When we open the Word of God and read and digest its' truths we are transported into heavenly realms!

We are taught how to live by eternal standards on earth,as we live the Word of God!

The Word of God challenges what is wrong and shows us what is right for our life!

Amen! In the fullest form of that perfect liberty to do so, , for the best report is becoming difficulty for some to secure, they who love the Lord we do suffer with, but shall by God, prevail if we pray!

Come Holy Spirit, root in us God's living Word, that we may show the faithfulness of Christ our Lord

He it is the living author
wakes to life the sacred Word,
reads with us the Bible story
and reveals our risen Lord.

Psalms 19:7-8
The law of the Lord is perfect, converting the soul,
The testimony of the Lord is sure,
Making wise the simple:
The statutes of the Lord are right,
Rejoicing the heart,
The commandment of the Lord is pure,
Enlightening the eyes.
