Since we're here just stating our opinion, and not really proving anything, I'll give you my 2 cents. I agree that Antichrist's Empire is regional, but I do think it will be Europe. That's because Christianity was originally rooted and remains sustained there, just as Israel is rooted and now sustained in the Middle East.

So Islam is just Israel's evil neighbor, and Antichrist will be Christianity's evil neighbor in Europe. The False Prophet may or may not be a corrupt Pope. It seems more likely he will be an anti-Pope, because his religion will deify the Antichrist, rather than support Mother Mary and the God-Man Jesus. Antichrist will, I think, be intolerant with Christianity in Rome.

I also am not Pretrib. And I don't think the temple needs rebuilding. But I do think Antichrist rises up out of Christian territory, at a time when Christianity has fallen on hard times (which is now).

As for Revelation, I think it is *not* given in chronological order, and bears little relation to the Olivet Discourse, which is largely a prophecy of Israel's future in the NT era, termed a "punishment," or a "great tribulation." The evils of the Jews, and their tribulations, result in tribulation for Christians who suffered under the Jews, as well. And so, the entire NT era is filled with the experiences of Christian nations falling on hard times, turning to evil, and suffering tribulation, also putting good Christian into tribulation.

The reason Revelation duplicates visions is to confirm them by approaching a subject or time period from different angles, enhancing its understanding. Christ's Coming is referred to a number of places in Revelation, and not just once at the end of the book. So there are duplicate visions. And there are flashbacks as well as prolepses (future visions), which are clearly not chronological.

I can't comment on the word "all," because I don't know Greek. There are particularities in languages which do not lend to proper use by amateurs. So I won't go there, although I do have a brother who could likely tell me.

Although Antichrist's Empire will be, I think, based in Europe, I think the idea is that he has followers globally, if only in parts of every nation. People, in their Sin Nature, and in their rebellion against God's control, will be drawn to him and to "freedom for the flesh." This is a world-wide problem, because all people have a sin nature.

But the point about "all" is only one subject and certainly isn't evidence for all of the things you're for and against. They're just stating or asserting your opinions, just I now am giving you mine. I hope you don't mind?

Replying to the OP -none of that takes away from the fact of these verses below and that we need to use the bible as a whole to form a complete picture of what will happen.

Isaiah 14:12 "How art thou fallen from heaven, O Lucifer, son of the morning how art thou cut down to the ground, which didst weaken the nations!"

Isaiah 14:13 "For thou hast said in thine heart, `I will ascend into heaven, I will exalt my throne above the stars of God: I will sit also upon the mount of the congregation, in the sides of the north:"

Isaiah 14:14 "I will ascend above the heights of the clouds; I will be like the MOST HIGH

II Thessalonians 2:4 "Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, shewing himself that he is God."

Isaiah 14:15 "Yet thou shalt be brought down to hell, to the sides of the pit."

Revelation 20:3 "And cast him into the bottomless pit, and shut him up, and set a seal upon him, that he should deceive the nations no more, till the thousand years should be fulfilled: and after that he must be loosed a little season."

Nations, plural

Revelation 20:7 "And when the thousand years are expired, Satan shall be loosed out of his prison."

Revelation 20:8 "And shall go out to deceive the nations which are in the four quarters of the earth, Gog and Magog, to gather them together to battle: the number of whom is as the sand of the sea.

Revelation 12:9 "And the great dragon was cast out, that old serpent, called the Devil, and Sa'-tan, which deceived the whole world: he was cast out into the earth, and his angels were cast out with him."

There can be no mistake about the word "whole" in verse 9, it in the Greek it means complete. There can be no doubt that we are talking all nations.

Revelation 12:10 "And I heard a loud voice saying in heaven, Now is come salvation, and strength, and the kingdom of our God, and the power of his Christ: for the accuser of our brethren is cast down, which accused them before our God day and night."

Revelation 12:11 "And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death."

Which coincides back to this verse-

Revelation 2:10 "Fear none of those things which thou shalt suffer: behold, the devil shall cast some of you into prison, that ye may be tried; and ye shall have tribulation ten days: be thou faithful unto death, and I will give thee a crown of life.."

Daniel 8:25 "And through his policy also he shall cause craft to prosper in his hand; and he shall magnify himself in his heart, and by peace shall destroy many: he shall also stand up against the Prince of princes; but he shall be broken without hand."

I Thessalonians 5:3 "For when they shall say, Peace and safety; then sudden destruction cometh upon them, as travail upon a woman with child; and they shall not escape."

Ephesians 6:11 "Put on the whole armor of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil."

Again, this is it. Wiles in the Greek - is simply trickery which points to deception. Something both Christ and Paul give very strict warnings about.

Ephesians 6:13 "Wherefore take unto you the whole armor of God that ye may be able to with stand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand."

One conspiracy theory is that Saddam will return.
We need to let go of conspiracy theories and the traditions of men (yes, pretrib rapture being one of them etc) so that we can see what the Bible has foretold us on what's going to happen and what one needs to do to prepare if it should happen in one's lifetime.

I was raised on the traditions of men/false doctrines and when I got older that's what drove me into the Word. But again, we have to take it as a whole to get the complete picture. If we do, it's all about Satan and his ultimate deception of the whole world when it comes to the end times.
