Hmmm.. now that's a hard one!If you could only watch one show for the rest of your life, what would it be?
Sweet. Next to CSI , L&O is the best!Hmmm.. now that's a hard one!
Probably "Law & Order"... I watch all the re-runs now (or try to anyway) and they've got like 10 years of shows to choose from, so there a wide variety.
Actually... "Jewishness" or lineage is determined by Jews by the mother, not the father. Even today, if your mother is Jewish, you're considered Jewish regardless of what the father may be.
Reason? Until modern DNA, you couldn't always prove who the father was, but you always knew for certain who the mother is...
Actually, it is the Gentiles who usually use the father's genealogy to determine lineage.. and in scripture we see both Mary and Joseph's lineages listed.Thank you for the reply.I know that.So you mean that we can`t give evidence from the Bible that Jesus must be adopted from Josef to fulfill the prophecies. How shall we then explain for the jews people that Jesus was Messiahs? I have seen here that`s important for them.Ususally I always find answer over problems I have in the Bible when I talk to people even if that can take daysWhy have god then inspired Luke to write Luke 3:23 - 38 if that wasn`t important to proof something?

Also, Jesus was formally registered as Joseph's son-- thereby, legally making him of the lineage of David through Joseph, even though Joseph was not his biological father.
