Anybody like the West Wing? I just borrowed the DVD of the first season from a friend, and have really enjoyed it. It's certainly one of the best written shows I've ever seen. What do you guys think?

CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

I'm addicted to West Wing. It plays 3 times a day on BRAVO, plus I watch it weekly on NBC. One of the best shows ever (right up there with Law & Order, 24, and Alias).

I'm addicted to the West Wing now too. 
My sister got Season 1 on DVD...and I wasn't too into it at the time.
Then I was dog sitting for a couple from church and THEY had the set. So I just popped one of the DVDs in and watched the entire season in 2 days. And got hooked.

Seasons 1-4...nothing better. I think it's easily the best written show I have ever seen. I plan on getting Season 2 on DVD soon. I already own Season 1. Season 3 will be available sometime in the next year I hope. Season 2 is by far my favorite. This season has been a roller coaster. I miss the episodes where every scene stands out on it's own and by itself can make a show great...but EVERY scene is that way and so the episode in whole is amazing!
