The wedding

Hello all, I have just come back from my short honeymoon. The wedding was perfect. Things went wrong before the service, but as everyone has told me, the guests did not know. Jay looked great in his tux and lots of people told me that I was beautiful in my dress. Comeing down the isle I was so full of emotion, all happy thoughts. I shed a few tears and after we lit the unity candle, we shared a giggle. I guess that is one of the reasons that I love my new husband, because he makes me laugh.

I think it's pretty rare for everything to go 100% perfectly in any wedding, but a mess-up has to be pretty obvious for the guests to notice, lol. I'm glad you enjoyed your wedding. Congrats!!

We went to the Renaissance Savery Hotel in Downtown Des Moines. My uncle got us the room as a gift.

That's where we stayed when we were in Des Moines back in August. Very nice.
