The waiting Game....

I have been single for almost 7 years.. I am a single mom who works fulltime and I would really like to meet more Christian people.. but it just is not happening

I know it will happen when God thinks I am ready.. of course I am wanting ti to happen now.. I am tired of being alone and seeing everyone else in a relationship..

All in God's Time..so I am just waiting for when he thinks I am ready

Who else is right where I am?

And don't worry about rejection. Everyone gets rejected believe me. I have a HUGE list of giant, sometimes humiliating rejections. But you gotta keep putting yourself out there.

I'm a single dad, and I managed to find someone who looks past my past. I'm sure that God will provide you with your hearts desire as well.

I hear ya. I'm out there , I'm involved in things that intrest me, I'm serving the Lord, but there are no guys anywhere in my vicinity that i'm attracted too or are attracted to me, there are no guys around that are even around the same age as me. Plus throw in that i'm super shy. So thus I wait, and it stinks.

well if they are 25 or around there, they are married or taken or engaged or dating or don't like me. They aren't avalible. the few guys i know of that are around my age and single, don't meet my standards, meaning they either aren't Christians or they aren't serious about their faith. I don't want to settle just for the sake of getting married, that's gross. I want an amazing person that loves the Lord that thinks i'm amazing.

I've never rejected a woman because she was a single mom, but I know of a couple who think I did for that reason.

I am struggeling to overcome the fear of rejection. I often become paralized when I walk up to a woman that I find attractive.
