I was doing some research and I came across some startling information. I don't know if anyone here has seen the Zeitgeist documentaries but they are one of the most popular series of documentaries ever made. The first one alone had 50 million views on You Tube. Well anyway, the first documentary is about Religion and how Christianity is supposedly a mixture of other religions. They try to prove this by comparing Jesus to Horus which is an absolutely ridiculous comparison. Anyone who knows anything about Horus knows that there are no real comparisons with Christ. Horus is the son of Osiris and Isis. The creation story of Horus is so pornographic that I can't even quote it here so I'll just post the link to a wikipedia page about him.

If you read the page you know that Horus isn't even close to Jesus. The only similarities would actually make him a perfect candidate for the antichrist. This theory will make perfect sense in a moment.
I don't know if any of you read my posts on Aleister Crowley but if you did or if you've studied him yourself, you know that he said before he died that after his death the age of Horus would begin where people would follow his philosophy of "Do as Thou Wilt Will be the Whole of the Law". He died in 1946 and in 1948, Israel became a Nation, the 50s brought in the age of Rock and Roll followed by the Hippie movement of the 60s, the sexual revolution and finally what we are seeing in the world today. Many celebrities use the Eye of Horus in their music videos and some such as Adam Lambert even have it tattooed on them.
Horus is also very important to the gnostics (aka esotericists, new agers, the mystery religions, freemasons, rosicrucians, theosophists Kabbalists, etc) all of these groups are gnostics. They originated from the egyptian religion and include many eastern philosophies in their beliefs as well. Well anyway, the Freemasons in particular are well known for their all seeing eye of horus on top of a pyramid. According to their most well known handbook "Morals and Dogma", this symbol which is also on American Currency, is symbolic of the new world order or the age of Horus.
Now back to Zeitgeist. In the second documentary, it speaks of a man by the name of Jacque Fresco. He came up with an idea for a socialist "Resource based society" where money would be obsolete and computers would run everything. He even built a town based on his idea. This society sounds like a perfect utopia to anyone who doesn't know anything about Bible Prophecy but to Christian's it's the perfect example of the world government to come and the mark of the Beast. There is a large group called "The Zeitgeist Movement" that are traveling the world spreading the message of the Venus Project and are gaining more and more followers along the way. This isn't even the creepiest part. How does this tie in with Aleister Crowley and Bible Prophecy you ask? Well linked to the Venus project site was a band that made an album about the Zeitgeist movement and the Venus project. Their name just happens to be "The Lost Children of Babylon" and their song lyrics go into great detail about what this proposed society would look like.
