Spelunking the most ancient caves of Xianity
One of the most influential men in my life was a NT prof in Seminary back in the mid-90's. He prayed like I had never heard anyone ever pray. I became his research assistant and as our friendship grew, I asked him about his prayer life. He admitted that he had memorized large portions of Valley of Vision and often incorporated it into his prayers, both personal and public.
I love this book and have often prayed these great prayers myself.
