The universe is expanding, but, where?

Hi to all of you, may God bless you! Perhaps you could help me because this is something hard for me to understand. I always hear that the universe is expanding, the universe is in continous expansion, ok, I can understand that, but, could someone explain to me where is it expanding? For example, if I have a glass full of water and I drop there a drop of ink, the ink expands in the water, in the glass full of water, so, where is the universe expanding?

Nowhere comprehensible. Literal existence is expanding, for within our universe is all comprehensible time, space, etc. There isn't an "outside", not of any kind we really understand. As incomprehensible as it may seem.

It is expanding because we are observing it.

Once there is no more life, it will just burn.

Actually, the universe will achieve perfect entropy and be cold. And it was expanding long before we began to observe it.

Wrong, entropy is self-destructive at the universal level, that means it burns.

And you may say it was expanding before we observed it, but you were not here.

I just don't understand, if it is expanding where is it expanding? It needs a place for that expansion to take place within that space, is it really incomprehensible?

The where itself is expanding, the universe is all the "where", beyond it is an incomprehensible and unknown nothingness that we can only speculate on, as of yet. Space is confined to the universe. Time is confined to the universe, these things are expanding with the universe.

There is no outside to expand to; literal existence is expanding into nonexistence, as far as we know.

You were not there when the US Civil War happened, but that doesn't mean it didn't happen, and it left behind traces. The same can be said for the expansion of the universe. And since many stars are so distant that they are seen by us as they were billions of years in the past, we can actually see how parts of the universe were before our planet even existed. Yup, there was expansion then too.

You are ignoring the fact that Christ was here from the beginning of time.
No she is not, she is just an atheist that doesn't believe it. I think the answer to my question is God after all, I came here looking for a scientific answer but it makes a lot of sense to be God behind it after all.

The truth is often stranger than fiction; the universe is not going to politely ensure that everything about it "makes sense". Our minds are limited in what we can comprehend, and not comprehending something doesn't make it a less valid answer than the "easy answer".

If something exists without interrupting a process and becomes concurrent with it, the expression of that in time, comes to determine ownership of that process.

Christ observed the Universe from birth, perfectly, and therefore created it, perfectly.

This is law.

No, we observe things all the time without being the cause of those events. That would be like saying midwives own the process of childbirth because they observe it and don't interrupt it. Such a statement is nonsensical.
