• The General Mental Health Forum is now a Read Only Forum. As we had two large areas making it difficult for many to find, we decided to combine the Mental Health & the Recovery sections of the forum into Mental Health & Recovery as a whole. Physical Health still remains as it's own area within the entire Recovery area.

If you are having struggles, need support in a particular area that you aren't finding a specific recovery area forum, you may find the General Struggles forum a great place to post. Any any that is related to emotions, self-esteem, insomnia, anger, relationship dynamics due to mental health and recovery and other issues that don't fit better in another forum would be examples of topics that might go there.

If you have spiritual issues related to a mental health and recovery issue, please use the Recovery Related Spiritual Advice forum. This forum is designed to be like Christian Advice, only for recovery type of issues. Recovery being like a family in many ways, allows us to support one another together. May you be blessed today and each day.

  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Ok so I was joking around with this thing on the internet called iGod. (It's just a silly bot) and I was just talking to it and then it said something about Gossip and then I said "You're not really God, you witch bot" because God would never want to spread rumors and lies. But I dunno if I have blasphemed against a holy spirit. I'm really scared if I might have because I would never really do that seriously, I already have salvation and I want to be with Jesus. What do you think?

I think you just blasphemed a bot. Nothing more.

I agree with qh93536. If ur really worried bout it then pray to God and ask for forgivness. He will forgive u. Then move on and forget bout it. Worryin bout it is more likely to affect ur relationship wiv God rather than the action

MY DEAR BROTHER IN CHRIST,

If you are worrying about having committed the "Unforgivable Sin" then you didn't, otherwise you wouldn't be worrying. The "Unforgivable Sin", as mentioned in Matthew 12:31,32, Mark 3:28-30, and Luke 12:10 has to do with blaspheming against the Holy Spirit by imputing the works of the Holy Spirit to Satan as did the Pharisees in the passages listed above.
Remember, THE ONLY SIN THAT CANNOT BE FORGIVEN IS THE ONE WHICH IS NOT ACKNOWLEDGED AND CONFESSED.

MUCH LOVE IN CHRIST,
ephraim

Hey Komplex, u know what? God is very pleased with you. You didn't blaspheme at all. In fact, you rebuked something that was pretending/claiming to be God. It said something that you knew God would never say and you rebuked it. Stop worrying and be sure that God is clapping with pleasure!

It boggles my mind that so few Believers understand what the ONE unforgivable sin is.

You blaspheme the Holy Spirit when you call Him a liar by saying the sacrifice of Jesus is not true and reject that salvation. It's that simple. So, if you have not rejected God's plan of salvation for your life then you do not have a problem.

that did make me laugh a bit. just to let you know that you called a bot a witch, which it wasnt god. Ive had conversations with bots like that, and they..... annoy me!

Just to let you know about blaspthamy against the holy spirit. I have wondered about this to. i thought cursing against the holy spirit would give me a one way ticket to hell and i would of never be leaving it. But i have cursed god at the beggingin of my faith. Also before i knew god i used to search pictures of war and dead bodies. I got this evil attatchment to it. When i found out about god instead of searching boides i searched satan. A picture of a cross burning came up and i yelled "hail satan". Indeed i put no heart into that when i said it that time. I hate satan, i dont even know why i said it. but this is obviously blaspthamy against the father, son and holy spirit all in one.

but i know without a doubt that i am saved, i am cleansed and forgiven. If i wasnt i think good wouldnt bother blessing me, which he has been doing for a long time. He would curse me and take away my blessings.

When you pray to god, no one can ever pray with all their heart except for jesus. In the same way no one can ever pray against god with all their heart, except the devil. (well actually im not to sure0 but i think you would have to curse god with all your heart, cursing god is cursoing the son, and holy spirit aswell!!!!!!!!

just remeber that, if you are still smiling, still breathing, still eating. you are safe. If however your not doing any of those things, i would panic....if you know what i mean?

Don't worry man, people who are true believers in Jesus Christ are incapable of committing the unforgiveable sin, for the unforgiveable sin (blasphemy of the Holy Spirit) is unbelief.

To the glory of God,

I think anything on the Internet or anything else that claims to be God is wrong and I would definitely stay away from it. It's an idol and if you need guidance, try opening your bible and pray to a real God, not a virtual one. Also, if you think you blasphemed, do you think iGod is real? There's your answer.

In Him,
Trinity
