I think you might have. It appears that you struggle with understanding the difference between the Old and New Covenant and the differences between the two. There are quite a few believers that struggle with that so I wouldn't feel to bad about that. It's pretty simple really. The OT law in its entirety is no longer valid. However, the NT Covenant still maintains that certain things mentioned in the old law are still sins are still recognized as sinful behaviors. The NT Covenant also brings in some new thoughts on the subject of sinfulness as well, so there are things in the NC that are not in the old. Practicing homosexuality is one of those things contained within the old and the new as is lying and stealing.
