Most Christians have this wrong understanding and believed that God gave the Law for us to follow. Before the death and resurrection of Jesus, everyone is living in the flesh and dead spiritually. Therefore, there is only one nature which man lived by which is the flesh. Man not knowing that they are sinful and can never please God, tried to perform good works to earn God's favor. Therefore God gave the Law and said: "Anyone who desire earn my favor and enter heaven must obey the Law without breaking any of the commandments."

Romans 2:13 For it is not those who hear the law who are righteous in God’s sight, but it is those who obey the law who will be declared righteous.

Galatians 5:3 If anyone wants to be righteous through the law, they have to obey the entire law

James 2:10 For whoever keeps the whole law and yet stumbles at just one point is guilty of breaking all of it.

But God's true intention for giving the Law is to show man that they cannot keep his law because of their sinful nature. It is liken to God saying to a dead corpse "If you want to live, then show me that you can breathe." But it is impossible for a dead corpse to breathe.

After the death and resurrection of Jesus, everyone who accepted Jesus is born again, filled and sealed with the Holy Spirit and made alive spiritually. At this point, a Christian has two natures. The nature of the sinful flesh that is the old man and nature of the Holy Spirit that is God's nature. If you know the flesh, you will know that it is capable of performing good works and evil desires. In the non-Christian community, do we not see people who contributed much to the society and others? However, God compare all the rightouseness of sinful man as filthy rags.

Isaiah 64:6 But we are all as an unclean thing, and all our righteousnesses are as filthy rags; and we all do fade as a leaf; and our iniquities, like the wind, have taken us away.

The other nature of a Christian is the nature the Holy Spirit that is God's nature which cannot sin. These two different nature within a Christian is constantly at war. Therefore Paul wrote that he discipline his body and bring it into subjection.

1 Corinthians 9:27 But I discipline my body and bring it into subjection, lest, when I have preached to others, I myself should become disqualified.

How to know stop operating in the flesh?

Step 1: Stop focusing on the Law and do not be sin conscious. Remember that God did not gave the Law for anyone to follow but rather to make all sinners aware that of their sinful nature and cannot save themselves by their own human effort or good works. If you continue to focus on the Law, you will strengthen the flesh to perform and more sins will be committed.

1 Corinthians 15:56 The sting of death is sin; and the strength of sin is the law.

Hebrews 10:2 For then would they not have ceased to be offered? because that the worshippers once purged should have had no more conscience of sins.

Romans 6:14 For sin shall not have dominion over you: for you are not under the law, but under grace.

Galatians 3:10 All who rely on observing the law are under a curse, for it is written: ‘Cursed is everyone who does not continue to do everything written in the Book of the Law.

Galatians 5:4 You who are trying to be justified by the law have been alienated from Christ; you have fallen away from grace.

Step 2: Live in freedom from the Law and act according to the prompting of the Holy Spirit. If you believe that God cannot sin, what made you think you will commit sin when you are flowing with the Holy Spirit?

Romans 8:5 Those who live according to the flesh have their minds set on what the flesh desires; but those who live in accordance with the Spirit have their minds set on what the Spirit desires.

Anyone who is alive will naturally breathe without being told to do so. Therefore if a Christian flows with the spirit, they live out the nature of God which is free from the Law and Sin. Therefore, I believe this is the reason why God do not want Christians to be conscious of the Law and Sin. A born again Christian who is filled with the Holy Spirit will naturally obey the Law without effort or mindful of not breaking it.

Two natures? What other things in creation have two natures?

I only have one nature, since my old man was destroyed and a new creature as raised from His grave to walk in newness of life.
As 2 Cor 5:17 states, " Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new."
My old nature was one of the old things that "passed away".

Be careful of your words, here. Your intent is good, but be careful. The "old man" must continually be put to death.

We will always have the flesh trying to bring us down i think. Paul said, 'i beat my body' i guess with discipline to follow Jesus, and still had the body of death bringing him down, being Paul, you would think he would have accomplished what a christian should accomplish, and still complained about the flesh.

I think theres two aspects of sin and the law and being born again of the spirit. God brought the law to show we are sinners. But we also knew this law by our conscience before the law.

The other aspect is that we are born again in the spirit. As Nicodemus asked Jesus, "how can a man be born again when he is old". But this was born again in the spirit. Our nature is remade or transformed from the sinfull flesh nature to the Christlike spiritual nature.

So I think there are two things at play. Our new nature causes a change of heart and mind like a new person with a positive attitude to life who once had a negative one. We want to please God as it flows from our new nature which is exampled in Christ.

But at the same time we come to see how our flesh nature is like another kind of beast within us and that it is not us that has overcome this but Christs spirit living in us. If there for the grace of God go I. Without God and Jesus sacrificing himself then we would have no power over our flesh natures.

So we see two contrasting natures at war and what they are capable of and we know that our flesh natures are capable of the most evil acts and we think thank God we can be saved from this as it makes a whole lot of sense to avoid such a fate.

Its like in alcoholics anonymous. They say once an alcoholic goes to a meeting and hears the message or hears their story and realises they have a disease and are powerless to stop they are never the same. A voice inside them keeps telling them that they are on the road to ruin and that there is a greater power who can restore them to sanity. It keeps bugging them to give in and submit to that higher power.

Just like Gods spirit is in our conscience or we become God conscious and sin becomes detestable and we know where it will lead. That there is a greater power in Christ. Once saved we can never live with sin in our hearts and if it does sneak in we want to get it out quickly and become more like Christ.

Why did he still have "this body of death" ?
Paul wrote, in Rom 6:6, that it had been destroyed !
Rom 6:6..."Knowing this, that our old man is crucified with him, that the body of sin might be destroyed, that henceforth we should not serve sin."
Paul, and all believers, were "raised with Christ to walk in newness of life". (Rom 6:4)
We are new creatures after that.

When Paul refers to his body it is just to the vessel he is walking around in.
It has no inherent sinfulness.

Why christians and in the bible too, have problems with sin all the time.

12 Therefore, brothers and sisters, we have an obligation—but it is not to the flesh, to live according to it. 13 For if you live according to the flesh, you will die; but if by the Spirit you put to death the misdeeds of the body, you will live.

Because they are pretending to be Christians, in order to make the faith look bad.

We must differentiate between the Holy Spirit sent by Christ and the new creature spirit of Christ born into us when we are saved.
They are not the same. You were not born the Holy Spirit when you were saved. The old fallen adamic spirit was removed and the new spirit of Christ was birthed into you.

2 Corinthians 5:17 KJV
17 Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.

Galatians 6:15 KJV
15 For in Christ Jesus neither circumcision availeth any thing, nor uncircumcision, but a new creature.

Ephesians 4:24 KJV
24 And that ye put on the new man, which after God is created in righteousness and true holiness.

Ephesians 2:5 KJV
5 Even when we were dead in sins, hath quickened us together with Christ, (by grace ye are saved; )

Ephesians 2:10 KJV
10 For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them.

Colossians 3:10 KJV
10 And have put on the new man, which is renewed in knowledge after the image of him that created him:

1 Peter 1:3 KJV
3 Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, which according to his abundant mercy hath begotten us again unto a lively hope by the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead,

1 John 3:9 KJV
9 Whosoever is born of God doth not commit sin; for his seed remaineth in him: and he cannot sin, because he is born of God.

I agree with most of what you write but there are things in Genesis which reveal what you are saying, such as the Tower of Babylon represents all those people who try to achieve heaven through their own efforts, including many Christians. (This is through the spoken word of God.)

Amen to that !

There it basically says we need to fight the flesh? because it if we must not live according to flesh, it means is there still, it was not destroyed?.
The flesh grows the more you indulge in some vice, or if you don't take care of seeking God?

I see the word "flesh" as "the worldly oriented mind", on most occasions where it is mentioned in the NT.
Those reborn of God's seed have destroyed that mind by being "immersed" into Christ's death.
Gal 5:24 says..." And they that are Christ's have crucified the flesh with the affections and lusts."
Skin and bone has no affections or lusts.
The reborn of God have the mind of Christ.
It is written..."For who hath known the mind of the Lord, that he may instruct him? but we have the mind of Christ." (1 Cor 2:16)
