The Two Babylons

The title to this thread is a book written by a Scottish minister named Alexander Hislop back in the 1850s. In it he uses ancient history, knowledge of pagan beliefs, and the parallels in Catholic theology to pagan beliefs to demonstrate that the mysteries of Nimrod's Babylon are the same mysteries the Catholic church teaches.

I have never read as thorough a documentation as Hislop provides. Not even the SOP prophecy provides this kind of documentation.

Now I realize there is a whole lot of antipathy here towards me but I think everyone needs to be given access to this level of knowledge no matter their feelings about me personally. You dislike me? So what. What does that have to do with learning truth? So if you've never read or even heard of this book here's your opportunity to learn what you will never find anywhere else. It is as clear a historical documentation of Biblical truth found in what both the OT and NT have to say about the pagan inroads into God's people that have been made over the millenia as you will ever find.
