I saw a nostalgic book the other day, it was a 60's book with pictures demonstrating what the popular body looked like of part of that era. One of them was the model Twiggy. She was a young long limbed, boyish looking model, and thin.
Now, if she was looked up to by young women and girls alike back then, did those young girls have more of a chance of developing a eating disorder? Is this chance higher than if they lived in the 50's with the famous body of Marilyn Monroe, who was fuller figured and average sized?
Any first hand experiences?
Silly question, I know, but I think alot
