As humans, we are drawn to suffering and the causes of suffering. As a Christian, I look upon the cross to be reminded of suffering. Suffering is the way to salvation because there is much love in suffering.
We are drawn to suffering because we have not suffered enough. If we had suffered all there is to suffer then we would become enlightened.
Enlightenment is the ends or embodiment of salvation. When we become enlightened, as a species, then we will see everything as it truly exists: infinite and holy! When we know ourselves then we will become known. And when we become known then we will know ourselves at our origin; we are the children of the living-Father.
Even God has his origin at his birth. God was born of the Virgin Mary.
This is mysterious--to know that God was born of man. God the son proceeded from God the Father; and the God the Father was enlightend by God the holy spirit. As a man God suffered in order to know our suffering. It takes Great compassion for a god to suffer a mortal life.
God had faith through his suffering. However, it is quite comforting to know that even Gods' faith waivered upon the moment of his death. My God. My God. Why have you forsaken me? All faith waivers even in God.
We should take this into consideration when our faith begins to waiver--that part of faith is losing faith, especially, through suffering.
We are indeed drawn to suffering. I suffer for the word of God and the path of his suffering. I hate God at times, however, it is at these moments of hate that I am drawn more to God.
The suffering of Love is salvation. The question is--when does the suffering end?
We live for today. There is no tomorrow. If we want the kingdom of god then we have to fight-tooth and nail to get it. We live not for ourselves but for freedom, as a people,--free from this culture of death. Free of a sinful nation--America.

I see truth as any underlying mechanism in the universe--whatever makes it work and exist the way it does. However, all that I actually experience are my beliefs and the sensory information that I think the universe is giving me. I also have the beliefs of others to work with, but there is nothing beyond that. I don't care what the underlying mechanism is, I just want to improve my ability to make predictions about the sensory data this universe gives me. I don't care if the laws of physics actually describe the "real" universe, I only want them to describe the universe that I see. Should I care about what the "underlying mechanism" is? Should the idea of truth even be a concern to us?

Many prayers fall upon deaf ears. This is because of the impurity of the prayer. Prayer resides in the heart. A prayer is a matter of the heart. A pure heart produces a pure prayer.

Many pray for selfish matters or matters that have to do with earthly treasures.
Jesus says, place your treasures up in heaven, where moth nor rust doth corrupt.

The Most sublime act is-placing another before yourself; hence, John the baptist before Christ; as Christ was baptized by John.
So if we must pray, then it must be for others and not ourselves.

To do good without reward is virtuous; for God rewards those who are virtuous, just by the mere, virtuous-act of kindness that is offered.
When the Great scales of Virtue are tipped in the favour of goodness, this can be called the Great Integrity of the actualization of Virtue.

Beauty is always in a graceful agreement with Virtue. Virtue is beauty-in-motion (as I like to call it).
Virtue is no one thing except for the integrity of the Spirit. A giving spirit is virtuous. Words can be considered virtuous; as Christ said, it is what comes out of your mouth that will defile you.

Virtue is the un-carved block. We are all given an un-carved block at our birth, our-self.
It is a spiritual thing, as is, remains nameless.

1. Most people who come to this thread will not read this entire post.
2. Deities are a myth created by humanity to explain the unknown.
3. It is this myth that propels people into morality, and answers all their questions.
4. This also prevents people from thinking for themselves, coming to their own conclusions, and making decisions.
5. Lazy people want to be told what to choose (not akin to being ordered around, most lazy people don't like that) -- religion does this for many.
6. I am only interested in religion, I only spend hours debating and thinking about it because I am an idealist.
7. I have spent far too many hours of my finite life pondering how ideal this world could've been if it was truly ruled by a deity. Somewhat like a utopia--and in that same sense, it would be so terribly cruel (lacking ambition, motivation, purpose whatsoever).
8. A utopia is a huge leap from today's society. A little variation, however, is not so unbelievable. This is why I like science fiction. It's not way out there like fantasy; it's often a potential possibility (which is why I hate science fiction that really puts the FICTION into science fiction... like The Core).
9. Everything is what you make it. Everything is relative (e.g. you will take this post with a grain of salt, you've read so much in this post and know enough about me to know that my opinions are far from the absolute truth, of which you are so certain) to what you've experienced.
10. Truth is subjective, which is why my truths may not be truth to the posters above or below me.

There is no difference between truth and belief in a completely subjective world. There is, however, a difference between question and belief. You did not conform to the request of the thread starter in your previous post, as you asked a question, but did not share a truth.
