This is where the logic breaks down completely. You are describing sexual attraction in general. You've made a logical jump from saying 'This is what goes on when you are attracted to someone' to saying 'Therefore it is wrong.' It makes no sense.

It is interesting to me what Western culture defines as "normal" today. The early Christian Fathers condemned the following pagan practices in the Didache:

If you had studied the history of psychology, you would find for that for many many decades homosexuality was seen in its proper context, a mental illness... the recent relativist schools of psychology have narrowed the definition down to one of people being able to function in order to meet their basic needs.

I agree, society is degrading in America and other parts of the world, I accept all of the above. It's nice that relationships between two loving homosexual adults wasn't condemned in the above quote.

So, adversly, could you deny your heterosexuality and become homosexual? Are you ACTUALLY saying that it's possible to change orientation without Divine intervention and prayer to change? Yes, I read the whole article. The Mayo Clinic does, indeed, present certain theories as to what causes phantom pain, and none of them correspond with your opinion as stated in the OP.

They make it quite clear that the theory you presented as already been discounted. They may not know the exact combination of causes, but they know what does not cause it:
