When someone dies, it seems like their family and friends usually assume that they are in Heaven (never Hell of course). But in Revelations, the dead are resurrected so that they can be judged. Do people just wait for the rapture in their graves until they're resurrected and judged?[/QUOTE
If a person is saved and dies the bible says "To be absent from the body is to be present from the Lord"
If they arent saved they are in Hell awaiting the day.
There will be 2 different judgements!
1st for the saints, we will be judged for our stewerdship for Jesus after we got saved, meaning that Jesus will show us what we did for him after we got saved. we will still go to heaven even if we did nothing but just believe, But we will be ashamed in his presence if we dont work for him.
The second will be the Great white throne judgement for those who rejected Jesus & will be judged for their sinfilled godless lifestyle. So if you are saved work hard to earn yourself a crown to cast back at Jesus feet! dont be one who doesnt and always remember be gentle when talking to the unsaved never cram anything down their throats! be very gentle and patient plant that seed well...someone cannot be saved or convicted until they hear the word of God as the final authority...
