THE TEMPLE
O God, how I long to sit in your holy enclave. To pray in your temple as the sun shines on me in the stillness of the afternoon. I can almost hear you speak in the wind. Dear God, enlighten me in the temple that echoes your name with windows that touch not the light of the sun and brighten the light of the moon. I bow at your holy oracle Lord and long to kneel with another at your rock alter. One day, you will sit on the throne inscribed on it: Here sits the high priest.
