How many people believe the story of Nah's Ark, as recorded in the bible, is an actual historical event.
It's a story that children enjoy if the number of toy arks sold down through the years is anything to go by. But what about the grown ups, do they really believe it actually happened exactly as the bible says?
I believe it was a historical event. Whether it was global or local I don't know, I've heard both viewpoints from teachers I respect.

Jesus spoke of it as a historical event, as do writers of the New Testament. The Jewish historian Josephus also wrote of it and connected the descendants of the flood survivors to the nations surrounding Israel. So in that time it was considered historical.

....Disposal of animal waste....
With animal-powered machines of course! (according to some YECs) Note they had about 120 years to build the ark.

BTW a life-size model of the ark has been built in the US as a tourist attraction showing that many people believe it was historical...

Life-size Noah’s Ark
I wouldn't mind visiting the Noah's Ark attraction, but I don't believe Noah's Ark was historical. It is like going to visit a Christmas display with a replica of Santa and his reindeer. A person only needs to have fond childhood memories of Noah's Ark story books with elephants and giraffes to wish to see a life-size Noah's Ark replica.

Of course I agree with your larger point that there a lots of adults who believe the story of Noah's Ark is historical. Typically these are older generations and members of fundamentalist churches I suppose.

Then why would you post this in the Apologetics sub-forum, which has the sole purpose of offering a Biblical defense for the tenets of Theology?
I am asking believers of the story how they think Noah and his family managed to successfully complete such an enterprise in the face of almost innumerable difficulties.
Your answers would be in defense of the successful completion of the Ark enterprise, so what's your problem?
