The Statler Brothers

I really like the Statler Brothers, though I've only got one album of theirs (and even that was difficult to find). So I've only heard their "best of" album but I thought it was great.

I actually only heard of them through hearing them on the Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas game!

And does anyone else think that Thank You World sounds exactly like the words should have read "Thank you Lord for letting me contribute to the cause" rather than "thank you world"?

You are correct! The Statlers are great. You won't hear better harmonies anywhere.

You can find some cds at their website: http://thestatlers.com/ and amazon has several. I recommend the 30th Anniversary Collection. It's a three disc set that will give you an overview of their entire career. The Farewell Concert two disc cd is great too.

If I get the names of CDs I can ask my dad to get them for me the next time he goes to America. Which has a double advantage in that he finds them easier and I don't have to pay for them!
