The whole of general relativity breaks down somewhat at quantum scales. You can't break the speed of light on normal scales, still.
Correct.
General relativity (GR) is wrong because it does not fit into the Quantum world. So if you measure any events on the Quantum scale that breaks GR then so what - we already know it is not a valid theory on these scales.

Equally - Quantum Mechanics is not 100% correct because it does not take into account gravity.

Nothing broken - since we do not have a theory yet to break.

We have some good ideas - but it may take some time for a final theory of everything.

Lets not forget kids... from Newton's Laws to GR took around 250 years.

So, the answer may come in the next year or two - maybe not in my lifetime. Who knows – science is looking though.

All interesting stuff

the expansion of the universe is accelerating, but the universe is only 15 billion years old. the speed of light is always constant

Right, but the distances involved are deceiving (which was my initial point) because, in fact, the objects (at the edge of the universe) we are seeing are much further away than they appear to be due to expansion.

I wasn't disagreeing with him, I was just .. you know.. adding my 2 cents.

Did you read the paper I linked to? I am guessing you didn't.

Personally I think a metre is "normal" scales.

I am not making arguments for creationism, I am just pointing out what arguments I think are not great. And with recent research I think the speed of light argument may need to be revised.

My apologies, no I didn't read the paper

However, apparently, no information can be transmitted in this exchange, so there's no violation of GR. However, I'm no physicist, so I have no idea why information cannot be transmitted in this way.
