  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

Some say he did, and other say he didn't. But no one can prove either way, so the jury is still out, and because he is now dead and any witnesses have passed on too, the jury will never come to a reliable verdict.
Actually, it’s more like: ‘A small minority of people with a religious axe to grind believe he did based on a flimsy account, while literally everyone else believed he didn’t.’

I notice that you choose not to address that any deathbed comments by Darwin for or against evolution have zero relevance to the evidence and arguments in support of it. Do you care to address those or just to hide your head in the sand?

I'd argue that if, after 20 years of research, Dr Moore could find no evidence of a deathbed conversion and that, as the article says, "The alleged recantation/conversion are embellishments that others have either read into the story or made up for themselves. Moore calls such doings ‘holy fabrication’!" then we can reasonably ignore those with a religious desperation to invent such stories.

We can see from our back yard when rockets take off. I see so much money just flying away. Central Florida has a major homeless problem. Hmmmm... where could money come from to help??

You don't think they actually put the money on board the rocket, do you?

The money is used to pay the people who work there. And then those people go and spend that money on things like bills, groceries, rent, etc. The money goes back into the economy.

Of course, if you want to complain about unneeded spending, maybe criticise the amount the US spends on warfare.
