The Son of Man came to seek and to save the LOST

Jesus met a rich tax collector named Zacchaeus in Lk 19:

7 When they saw it, they all grumbled, “He has gone in to be the guest of a man who is a sinner.”
The Jews considered him to be a sinner.

8 And Zacchaeus stood and said to the Lord, “Behold, Lord, the half of my goods I give to the poor. And if I have defrauded anyone of anything, I restore it fourfold.”
Zacchaeus was humble and repentant.

9 And Jesus said to him, “Today salvation has come to this house, since he also is a son of Abraham. 10 For the Son of Man came to seek and to save the lost [G622].
Strong's Greek: 622. ἀπόλλυμι (apollumi) — 92 Occurrences

It was a common word with a few meanings. BDAG:
① to cause or experience destruction
ⓑ mid. perish, be ruined
② to fail to obtain what one expects or anticipates, lose out on, lose
③ to lose someth. that one already has or be separated from a normal connection, lose, be lost

Jesus contrasted the lost with the saved.

Yes.

Not all. Jesus did not assert he saved all the lost in Lk 19:10. Interpreting it that way is an example of overgeneralization.
Then according to you He wasnt successful. If He didnt seek and save that which was lost, He failed the purpose for which He was sent and came.

Thats like saying He failed to seek and to save all His Sheep that were lost like Illustrated earlier in Lk Chapter 15:3-7

3 And he spake this parable unto them, saying,

4 What man of you, having an hundred sheep, if he lose one of them, doth not leave the ninety and nine in the wilderness, and go after that which is lost, until he find it?

5 And when he hath found it, he layeth it on his shoulders, rejoicing.

6 And when he cometh home, he calleth together his friends and neighbours, saying unto them, Rejoice with me
; for I have found my sheep which was lost.

7 I say unto you, that likewise joy shall be in heaven over one sinner that repenteth, more than over ninety and nine just persons, which need no repentance.

Ezk 34:11-12

For thus saith the Lord God; Behold, I, even I, will both search my sheep, and seek them out.

As a shepherd seeketh out his flock in the day that he is among his sheep that are scattered; so will I seek out my sheep, and will deliver them
out of all places where they have been scattered in the cloudy and dark day.

Are you familiar with first-order logic?
Im familiar with Lk 19:10

10 For the Son of man is come to seek and to save that which was lost.

ἦλθεν γὰρ ὁ υἱὸς τοῦ ἀνθρώπου ζητῆσαι καὶ σῶσαι τὸ ἀπολωλός

The lost here has the definite article, its a unified whole, comprised of definite individuals, like His Church, His Sheep, One fold Jn 10:16

16 And other sheep I have, which are not of this fold: them also I must bring, and they shall hear my voice; and there shall b
e one fold, and one shepherd.
