anybody else play this game?

I used to play the old one wayyyy too much, and dream about getting the 2nd one... hee hee
Now I've got it, and barely have any time to enjoy it, i'm so busy, and when i have free time i feel too guilty for wasting it like that!

to tell you the truth,i wansn't to impressed with this game =( i was also really expecting it to come out,bought it,found out all the new features(by trying them out,of course),put it into my desk and it is still there,i never open it. . .which of the 3 towns did you like best?

I have both Sims 1 and 2. I got the Sims Complete Collection after I got the Sims 2. They both have their pros and cons, but they are both good. I am wondering what they have put in the new Business Expansion Pack. I'll get it soon, when it comes out.
One more thing, my boyfriend and I love to talk in Simmish (the language of the game). We have fun with it sometimes. I had to say that in here.

i got it as soon as it came out but my computer is way to slow for it and it stalls every 2 seconds. i really dont like that so when i get a new computer i might get the expansion packs. i used to have all the original sims expansion packs but i dont know where they are.

That game really kills a lot of time. I have to saty away from it when I'm in school or I'll be up till 3 in the morning playing.

Ugh, I got Sims 2 for my PS2 after drooling over my friends PC version.
Big Mistake.
It is nothing like the PC version! You can't even have kids or get old...or..or anything! Man, it was 60 bucker'oos too.
I think I'm gonna trade it in and buy the origional Dance Dance Revolution,(already have #2) with store credit or something.

Speaking of Sims 2, does anyone know where to find Christian themed custom content?

You can take a look at Mod the Sims 2: www.modthesims2.com . There, you have to register but it is free, and you have to download something to download stuff, but it is soo worth it. In the search bar, type in Christian, or something like it.. It should give you some stuff. If not content with that, you can look at Sims 2's game site, www.sims2.com .

My grown daughter and I played the original Sims for years and loved them,then we just had to have TS2, new Super Computers to handle it.HUGE mistake,we both HATE it,it is pointless,your sims die,too hard,with aspirations(often that will kill them),with the 3-D you can't even find your toddlers in the house! I unistalled mine and went back to having FUN,playing the Original! Sims 2 is too much work and too hectic to be fun,then after all that your sims die!

That is why you have to have children, and grow them up, and then they have children..

I got depressed with the original Sims...you get married, have a ton of kids, get rich, buy nearly every item there is to buy...quit your job, get a new job, get to the top of that job, quit it, get the superstar expansion pack and go try to get famous, succeed. Quit job. Get new job. Burn house while at work, wife and kids die.
Get married again. Have more kids. Buy bigger house. Get the pet expansion pack. Get a dog. Dog runs away. Get bored. Burn house. Die.

With Sims 2 you know that eventually they're gonna get old and die without the help of fire The kids are gonna eventually get older...and it's just all around more fun

With all their aspirations,on top of the usual needs,we just thought it was way to hard to set any goals for our sims in Sims,because it is almost impossible to get them accomplished.My Cassandra was getting old before I could even think about getting her in a relationship,same with her brother,by the time you keep up with his needs and manage to have him finish his homework,forget getting anything else finished! I admire anyone who can accomplish anything with this game and manage to stay happy with it,but it sure isn't my cup of tea! I don't even want to think of playing it with EPs,College,Pets, no way,LOL!
