Which is better? the simpsons or family guy? the simpsons is on its 16 season while family guy is just getting established.

I'm getting hooked on Family Guy - I think the characterisation is better than The Simpsons (who haven't really evolved all that much really), and the writing is just classy!

i luv the simpsons!! to me family guy is not very creative as it is simply a combination of every sitcom that ever made it big. the simpsons was like a pioneer and it is like the greatest!

And its been around for a little bit (1999) so it's not just starting out. It got cancelled and NOW their re-playing the episodes again and comming out with the new season.

I have watched the simpson since they were first on the Tracy Ullman show. I love Homer and the gang, but Family guy is funnier. Peter is so stupid, he kills me!!

Sometimes I have to wonder if the Simpsons is still coming out with new episodes... it just feels as though they've been forgotten.

Family Guy isn't new (as someone already stated). And they were cancelled, but I'm surprised to hear that they're bringing back new seasons. I saw an online petition a few years ago, so I guess it worked.

Family Guy has a lot of popular actors/actresses doing the voice talents.

Anyway, Family Guy gives me a much heartier laugh when the punchlines hit.

Definitely Family Guy. I loved the Simpsons, but it's gotten stale and needs to go. Long live Family Guy!
