They are two arms of the chiasm of Revelation describing the same group.

Rev 14:13 And I heard a voice from heaven saying unto me, Write, Blessed are the dead which die in the Lord from henceforth: Yea, saith the Spirit, that they may rest from their labours; and their works do follow them.

Who were that group and who were resurrected during Jacob's time of Trouble?

Perhaps we can sorta explain about the chiasm , being a standard of layout in old poetry. Like the AB AB & AA BB, & ABCDCBA. It's like when we use iambic pentameter & last words of 1st & 3rd lines and 2nd & 4th rhyming. They would've been scratching their heads at our modern writing styles.Not only are verses done this way like in Dan 7 and especially 9, the whole book of Rev builds to Chapt 13/14 then starts going backward in time til about 19 IIRC. It's funky to us, but not too complicated once you understand it. It was standard everyday writing in their day. One of the easiest to see is the 70 wk in Dan 9.

I read an article about that. What he was banned for in FLA. before was preaching the truth IIRC, they weren't wanting the 3 angels messages and anti-christ & Rome with all the gloom n doom, THEN after that ,he came up with his own goofy ideas and election stuff. I could be wrong.

Doug needs much prayer. He has tried to preach present truth against horrible opposition. He has been standing on the third angel's message forever. He has carried on Joe Cruz's legacy of preaching prophecy. I have never heard Doug teach about righteousness by faith and whether or not he even believes we must be sinless today, all I can do is pray for him.

It is too bad all denominations are getting wrapped up on the social justice nonsense which will lead to passing civil legislation for religious issues. Ever step from here on that the governments of the world take will be very obviously the fulfilling of prophecy. Watch for moral legislation that restricts religious liberty and we will know very well when the NSL will be legislated.

I am lost here??? The seven churches, seals, trumpets all are not consecutive but they all start at various times and end when Jesus comes. Many denominations make the seals trumpets and plagues to run consecutively, one after the other, but that would not fit in the short time we have left. Maybe I am just going off the track here.

Indeed, it has begun already."—The S.D.A. Bible Commentary 4:1161 (1902). {LDE 219.4}

Mrs. White wrote the sealing of God's people is the condition of the shaking. And it has begun already. She further testified (in 1850) that Mrs. Hasting who died had been sealed and will be among the 144000.

"I saw that she [Mrs. Hastings] was sealed and would come up at the voice of God and stand upon the earth, and would be with the 144,000. I saw we need not mourn for her; she would rest in the time of trouble."—Selected Messages 2:263 (1850).

I really like these quotes, and have read them often.
This time frame is the same as the wheat and the tares, the goats and the sheep, and the ten virgins.

The way Mrs Hastings can be with the 144k is the special resurrection spoken of in revelation 1:7, all those that pierced Him will be resurrected to watch Him come and then die again. Also in Daniel 12 we read about this same resurrection, Daniel:12:2: "And many of them that sleep in the dust of the earth shall awake, some to everlasting life, and some to shame and everlasting contempt." This is considered the special resurrection.

"A Special Resurrection Before Jesus Appears—Graves are opened, and “many of them that sleep in the dust of the earth ... awake, some to everlasting life, and some to shame and everlasting contempt.” Daniel 12:2. All who have died in the faith of the third angel’s message come forth from the tomb glorified, to hear God’s covenant of peace with those who have kept His law. “They also which pierced Him” ( Revelation 1:7), those that mocked and derided Christ’s dying agonies, and the most violent opposers of His truth and His people, are raised to behold Him in His glory and to see the honor placed upon the loyal and obedient.?" { Hvn 28.1}

Probably not! Lol. Someone a few posts prior was speaking of arms of a chiasm or chiastic structure. I'm pretty sure I was trying to explain to the "not sda" people a little how the structure works so that THEY may be able to apply it to Dan & Rev themselves, not only to understand how it was meant to be understood AND how silly the futurism cackles about these prophecies are when you try to look at them in this type of structure. Dats all. Whether people listen or not, I pretend that someone- somewhere just may look at this realistically, before proselytizing becomes illegal LOL!. I hope and pray, anyway

Apparantly it's been in free fall since at least the 50's ramping up in the 80's. How I received any truth 12 years a go when I first was baptized is fully giving glory to God. It was the Revelation Speaks Peace seminar by Boonstra and Feyerabend that 'hooked' me into the historical view if scripture. Praise God for shining His light on me!

Amen- it was God revealing prophecy to me. It was/IS undescribable. My jaw hit the floor when I saw an Amazing Facts and it aligned. A WOW moment. God is awesome beyond comprehension! I don't know what else to say.

I was hooked on Joe Crews for quite some time. I went to see him just before he died, what a blessing that was. He was all I expected him to be, a very kind loving Christian. I used John Carter videos to let the Lord convert my mom. She was so entranced by him that she wrote him letters asking many questions, but she got a very disappointing answer to one letter. She mentioned the victory over sin promised through righteousness by faith and he just about blew her faith away by saying that she was following the satanic doctrine brought out by the council of trent... I thank God that the letter he wrote her didn't phase her 1 bit. She was grounded in the truth. She did get a glimpse of George Vandeman when she went to Weimar and was very disappointed. She met him there and saw things she didn't want to see.

The Lord has used experiences like these to make certain that I do not put faith in man, like I did with Ty Gibson. I was a Ty Gibson disciple for quite some time, and almost joined with light bearers ministry, but the Lord did not let that happen.

I know we are not to focus our attention on man and make man our example to follow, but when we are shown errors in the teachings of those who are deceiving many we are to blow the trumpet in Zion. We are first to go to the deceivers and pray with them and study, if possible the errors. I did this with many preachers and teachers in the past, especially during the John Osbourne "Elijah challenge" when all the self supporting ministries joined together and had many campmeetings. Many of these meetings were very close to my home, and I attended them and asked many hard questions and was quite amazed at the lack of knowledge about righteousness by faith, and the excuses that were intellectually implanted into that teaching by Ralph Larson and others. I name names here because I tried through much prayer to show the errors but not many would listen. Who am I anyway for these "giants" of adventist theology to listen to me. John Grosboll is the only one that really shined and still does. He is the straightest preacher I have ever heard. He holds nothing back.
I have studied with Bob Trefz, Kenny Shelton, who is another brave preacher, who baptized my mom, Danny Vierra just last summer at campmeeting, John Grosboll, Ty Gibson pretty extensively. All I can do is pray for these people that the Lord will wake some of them up.

I use to have a stack of Cherith Chronicles 3 feet high. I use to get that newsletter since it was called freedom's ring. Way back in the late 80s. Bob had a lot to say, and still does, but he will surprise you sometimes. At one of the camp meetings I attended they had a question and answer time. I stood up and asked "is there sin in the heart after conversion". Bob looked at me and said "is that a trick question". Him and John Osbourne started himming and hawing back and forth and John Grosboll grabbed the microphone and flat out said "NO"! That cemented my heart on Grosboll, He is not very exciting, but he is a theologian and knows the truth and does not hold back. His sermons fill my heart with joy.

Bob trefz is hard to find on the internet. Some people post his videos on You tube, but the Cherith Chronicles is not online at all. I have downloaded all of Grosbolls stuff I can find along with jeremiah Davis, Dwayne Lemon and Henriques, and old faithful Joe Cruz, along with some Batchelor, Veith, Kenny Shelton Danny's brother from 3abn who use to be VP. He is very outspoken too. He likes to preach to black folks, and gets stirred up like them too, but he flat out tells them to stop sinning NOW!

The lower res the better when using a data service. All you need to do is listen anyway. Here is a site that has most of the historic SDA preachers.
