  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

The Seven Lean Cows club

Remember Joseph in Egypt and his interpretation of Pharaoh's dream of the seven fat cows being eaten by seven lean ones?

I am looking for serious like minded saints that believe that rough times are coming and that we will not escape sufferings, even if the rapture is pre-trib.

I am not a wierdo or a fanatic, not a survivalist or big into guns and weapons. I simply want to make sure my family and friends have food to eat, water to drink, if things go south.

The economy is a teetering house of cards. When (not if...when) it fails globally, groceries will be emptied within hours. Gas lines will be miles long. It will not be a pretty picture. I have been told that it is not scriptural to prepare but I believe the example of Joseph shows us it is for many a pathway we must explore, learn about, prepare for.

Are there any NORMAL, God loving saints out there who feel led the same way? I think we can be a big help to one another.

Blessings,

Bruce
