  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

"God grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change, the courage to change the things I can, and the wisdom to know the difference."

I like that prayer. :) I always have, even when it ws nothing more than a cool saying that was printed on bookmarks, posters, journals, ect. Now that God has placed some tough circumstances in my life, the words have taken on a whole new meaning. I've learned that I have no problem with courage...I have enough of that to choke a horse! :D It's the serenity and the wisdom that I lack! Sometimes, I just don't want to accept that things are out of my hands. It's hard to deal with the fact that there's often nothing I can do. You know what? God can help with that. He has all the wisdom and serenity that I (or you, or anyone ) could possibly need. It can be hard to rest in His peace when you're used to doing your own thing...believe me, I know from personal experience! :D Good thing He's always there to show the way.
