The sensitive singles....

Hi everyone please remember that their are those who are sensitive...I mean very sensitive on this board.
Singleness like other topics can hit a certain "nerve" I am sure that this has happen to us all!!!
Just thought that I would share that!!

I think it is very important to be sensitive to the feelings of others!!! There are people who are hurt by the conversations that happen on this board and I for one feel that we should be uplifting others not putting them down!!!

That's similar to my opinion. The problem is, often I don't run things past God first... so where God might use offensive words as tough love, I've just torn someone down. I have to be VERY careful to make sure it's something God, not me, wants me to say. Speaking the truth in love, etc...

Good point mate. While we strive to be sensitive, encouraging and all that, we shouldn't do it at the expense of being real and telling the truth. Most times the truth is quite unpleasant to listen to.

I agree, sometimes we could be tempted to say things that could affirm their view on a situation and would not even try to look outside the box and see things from another perspective i.e. determined/focusing on just one thing and persistantly rejecting all the other possibilities.
