I have a question for which I have been unable to find the answer.

In a world dominated by technology, how will we be able to identify the Second Messenger?

Holy texts speak of the condition of the world - the signs to watch for - but what is specific to the Messenger? The world knew of the Virgin birth; they were curious and intrigued.

The purpose of the Second Messenger is different as will be their arrival.

World events aside, prophesy of what the Second Messenger WILL DO aside, how can the Second Messenger even become known in a world that can longer recognize the Voice of God?

Who would they go to in a world that’s “evolved” into only acknowledging fame and fortune? Who would believe anything they had to say in a world that has forgotten how to listen to God’s Voice? We live in a world that would make DEMANDS of the Messenger; that is not their purpose.

Who can they turn to for authentication? Or is it simply too late?

No, the world at large did not know of the Virgin Birth. The Hebrew is far from precise, and more importantly, to the world at large, the Virgin Birth was irrelevant; no one at the inn gave up their spaces, and only a small number of extremely esoteric magi arrived from the east.

World events aside, prophesy of what the Second Messenger WILL DO aside, how can the Second Messenger even become known in a world that can longer recognize the Voice of God?
The world hates God, hates the Son, and strives to silence the Gospel. The people of this world will never follow, and they will die in their sins. But the sheep of the Lord, do hear and follow the Voice of God whenever it is available to us.

I thought the wisemen traveled for the birth
and that Jesus was watched throughout his life because of the nature of his birth.

Back to my original question though - how will the second Messenger be identified? Because of technology, no one believes in miracles any longer. Artificial intelligence can replicate anything so we can no longer believe anything that we see.

How can the Second Messenger navigate a world that denies their very existence? What is a concrete step for them to take? How can they be authenticated in a world that discredits everyone that would even speak about this as being mentally ill or fanatical? Who do they talk to when their message is completely overwhelming to holy men? Pastors. Priests. Imams.

These details are not in the Bible - intentionally or not - but are the foundation of our beliefs. It is not enough to just believe in Jesus and that he died for our sins. There is a story that is waiting to be told, with no narrator. Who becomes the narrator when no one recognizes the voice of God?

Why do you falsely accuse everyone of Christ, of not believing in miracles any longer?

Why do you falsely accuse everyone of Christ, of failing to recognize the voice of God?

You are focusing on my beliefs and asking me to justify them; your responses are deflection because you do not have an answer for me either. You are picking apart my statements, but not answering my question.

no one can answer my question because no one knows how to identify the second Messenger. We are taught to look for signs in the world. Where are we told how to recogize the Messenger?

If they arrived at your front door tonight, how would you recognize them? Would you even believe the possibility or would you doubt them? How would you authenticate them when they have nothing to prove to you? The role of the second Messenger is not to prove themselves as the Messenger; their role is to deliver a message. What would you do?

If you are not lds I will delete my posts. the second messenger is a title/phrase used by non-christian religions.
LDS? Latter-day Saints? I apologize if I'm using incorrect terminology. Does LDS not believe in the second coming?

I'm here because I have a question that I'm trying to get answered. English is not my first language, but I'm feeling from you that that is not the issue. I am earnestly just trying to find an answer to my question.

I believe that many religions believe that Jesus will return - even Islam. Are you saying that Jesus is not going to return? Or are you saying that your belief is that Jesus will come back exactly like he was the first time?

What religion are you? Mormons and Muslims believe in a second future Messenger.Christians do not adhere to Jesus Christ of Nazareth as a Messenger, He is God in the flesh. And yes, He will come back a second time in the same manner as scripture tells us.

Acts 1:11
"Men of Galilee, why do you stand gazing up into heaven? This same Jesus, who was taken up from you into heaven, will come back in the same way you have seen him go into heaven."

Whay religion are you?
It seems that When it is obscure on purpose, (any post) , the origin is often a coven (so to speak) meant to distract, confuse and otherwise cause problems or to harvest information from posters to use against them later.

Jesus is not a messenger, Jesus is coming back as The King Messiah.

No. I am not asking you to justify your beliefs. I have no interest in attempts at self-justification.

You have said that no one believes in miracles, or will so believe; this is false. You have said that no one hears the voice of God, or will so hear; this also is false.

And to what "second messenger" do you refer? In fact, as others have pointed out, who is the "first messenger" about which you imply? Christ the Lord is not messenger; the Greek word rendered "angel" means "messenger", and Christ the Lord is not one of those; He is Lord.

The wise men were not there for the birth of Jesus. Even the shepherds only saw Him once He had been born. The wise men arrived in Bethlehem up to two years after the birth, for we read:

“Then Herod, when he saw that he was deceived by the wise men, was exceedingly angry; and he sent forth and put to death all the male children who were in Bethlehem and in all its districts, from two years old and under, according to the time which he had determined from the wise men.” (Mt 2:16 NKJV)

Jesus is not a messenger. Jesus is God and is The Son of God The Messiah. Who came and became a human and is who a person must believe in, to receive God's free gift of Eternal Life salvation.

What is believing in Jesus, that is to believe who Jesus says He is. Which is The Son of God The Messiah, the resurrection and the life. If you believe this about Jesus then the person will become a pernamnet born again child of God.

John 1:12 But as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, to those who believe in His name:

John 3:14,15 And as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so must the Son of Man be lifted up, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have eternal life.

John 3:16 For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.

John 3:17 For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved.

John 3:18 “He who believes in Him is not condemned; but he who does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.

John 3:36 He who believes in the Son has everlasting life; and he who does not believe the Son shall not see life, but the wrath of God abides on him.”

John 5:24 “Most assuredly, I say to you, he who hears My word and believes in Him who sent Me has everlasting life, and shall not come into judgment, but has passed from death into life.

John 6: 27,28,29 Do not labor for the food which perishes, but for the food which endures to everlasting life, which the Son of Man will give you, because God the Father has set His seal on Him.”
Then they said to Him, “What shall we do, that we may work the works of God?”
Jesus answered and said to them, “This is the work of God, that you believe in Him whom He sent.”

John 6:47 Most assuredly, I say to you, he who believe in Me has everlasting life.

John 11:25,26,27 Jesus said to her, “I am the resurrection and the life. He who believes in Me, though he may die, he shall live. And whoever lives and believes in Me shall never die. Do you believe this?”
She said to Him, “Yes, Lord, I believe that You are the Christ, the Son of God, who is to come into the world.”

John 20:31 but these are written that you may believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God, and that believing you may have life in His name.
