The root cause of God's wrath in the end is not because people are breaking His commandments, it's because of unbelief.

Lawlessness is the manifestation of unbelief.

If one believes the word of God that belief will manifest itself in obedience.

2 Thessalonians 2:11-12 so God will allow them to believe lies with all their hearts, and all of them will be justly judged for believing falsehood, refusing the Truth, and enjoying their sins.

As we begin to grow in the love of God, through our nurturing relationship with Him, our obedience through belief will move to the next level, which is obedience through love.

Galations 5:5-7 For we through the Spirit eagerly wait for the hope of righteousness by faith. For in Christ Jesus neither circumcision nor uncircumcision avails anything, but faith working through love. You ran well. Who hindered you from obeying the truth?

The first step in the salvation process is belief. Belief will bring us into a relationship with God which will lead to love. Love will be the power that sustains us.

You're talking about the law and these scriptures are not..............I'd respect you more if your comments did not abuse and contradict the scripture that you keep posting. "The falsehoods" are any other doctrines than the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

2Th 2:13¶But we are bound to give thanks alway to God for you, brethren beloved of the Lord, because God hath from the beginning chosen you to salvation through sanctification of the Spirit and belief of the truth:

2Th 2:14 Whereunto he called you by our gospel, to the obtaining of the glory of our Lord Jesus Christ.
2Th 2:15 Therefore, brethren, stand fast, and hold the traditions which ye have been taught, whether by word, or our epistle.
2Th 2:16 Now our Lord Jesus Christ himself, and God, even our Father, which hath loved us, and hath given [us] everlasting consolation and good hope through grace,

Your teachings are questionable because you're using the scriptures to support your commentary rather than letting your comments support the unchangable scriptures.

The Gospel is not eat, drink and be merry for tomorrow we die.

The good news is that Jesus died for our sins so we can now have fellowship with God. God's grace, in the good news message, is that God is not going to punish us or condemn us for our past sins when we come to Him through Jesus Christ. But this grace that is found in the Gospel is not a license to continue in sin.

Romans 6:1-2 What shall we say then? Shall we continue in sin that grace may abound? Certainly not!

You are preaching a false Gospel without allowing people to rejoyce in the Law by having a correct understanding of the New Covenant.

This is all I will say on this.

Let the bee swarm come.

The root cause of God's wrath...

If God has wrath, perhaps this is a root cause:
1Brethren, my heart's desire and my prayer to God for them is for their salvation.
2For I testify about them that they have a zeal for God, but not in accordance with knowledge.
3For not knowing about God's righteousness and seeking to establish their own, they did not subject themselves to the righteousness of God. 4For Christ is the end of the law for righteousness to everyone who believes. Romans 10
The Gospel is not eat, drink and be merry for tomorrow we die.

You're jousting at windmills. To my knowledge, no one here has claimed that the gospel is "tomorrow we die." However, we do have much to celebrate. For in Jesus Christ our salvation is already secured. Our names were written in the book of life from the foundation of the world. The Holy Spirit has already guaranteed what is to come. We have the ministry of the Spirit that brings life. I cannot promote the hopeless gospel that you seem to espouse.

The good news is that Jesus died for our sins so we can now have fellowship with God. God's grace, in the good news message, is that God is not going to punish us or condemn us for our past sins when we come to Him through Jesus Christ. The reality is that we do continue to sin. By connecting our sin to the gospel, you seek to establish your own righteousness and you remove any hope of salvation.

This is all I will say on this.

I suspect that we will hear from you again on the subject of the law.

This attitude is contrary to the designed intent of a discussion forum, k4c. If you came here only to promote error and avoid the learning curve the university of hard knocks affords you, then of course everyone becomes a pest to you when they compare your errors to Scripture.

The rules of this forum allows me to respectfully say that your teachings are questionable.

I challenge you to present me teaching something that I cannot reenforce with the scriptures.
If you do, I will gladly retract my statements because God's word is the truth to impart to others.
WHO DO YOU THINK YOU ARE????
If we kept ourselves in subjection to what is declared in the word, we could be in agreement.

I would imagine it isn't hard to find a discussion forum that addresses your desire to discuss cooking. This isn't it.

Since you can't or won't understand how God's Law applies to New Covenant believers I thought I would discuss fish. You know Jesus ate fish.

What kind of seasonings do you think Jesus used?

Lawlessness is the manifestation of unbelief.

If one believes the word of God that belief will manifest itself in obedience.

Rom 1:18 — For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who hold the truth in unrighteousness;

It seems more reasonable to say, that the root cause of God's wrath is sin, or the sinful nature of men.

Lawlessness is not a manifestation of "unbelief" due to obedience to laws as you're implying. The fact that "unbelief" is to the gospel of Jesus Christ, proves your teachings about the law contradicts what the bible teaches Christians.

Romans 1:25 Instead of believing what they knew was the truth about God, they deliberately chose to believe lies. So they prayed to the things God made, but wouldn't obey the blessed God who made these things.

Who said God is angry? It makes no sense that a Being who is everywhere, knows everything, and owns all would be angry.... its His world..... granted some may have assumed God was angry, however attributing to God human emotion is suspect...

Is God the creator of human emotion?

God created humans... however that does not mean that everything that humans have God also has, or vice versa.... While the bible narrative suggests humanity was created in the image of God, we must ask what that means.... God is omnipresent, humans are not, God is all-knowing, humans are not, God is all powerful, humans are not... God is invisible, humans are not...

So while I can agree that God has given humanity everything that makes them human, there is no indication that everything humans may possess God also possesses...

OK. Fair enough. Is it within the realm of possibility that God is capable of emotion?
