Chapter 1: The Banishment
Sedwick looked outside. It was a dreary day in the town of Hinjur. Sedwick heard his mother call him down to dinner. He quickly rushed to his Eating room and saw a couple grains of rice and a corn-on-the-cob right in front of him, cooked and now cold. "Now I want you to eat every last bit, got it?"his mother told him."Yes, mother," Sedwick replied. Sedwick had been born into a family of Rats as a mouse, unwanted by his family When his mother left the room, Sedwick took the turkey and buried it in the dirt. He didn't feel like eating. HIs mother came outside when he was half way through and walked over to him. "Sedwick Hutjaw! Do I see what I think I see?!"His mother screamed at him, gaining the attention of other rodents in the area. Sedwick nodded and looked at the ground, dug up. His mother forced him on to the street. "Get away, Sedwick! You are no longer a Hutjaw! I hearby banish you from this town Hinjur!" She screamed at him. He ran away down DirtPath and headed into the forest, hidden from his shame.
Chapter 2: The Proposal
Sedwick saw a shadow and huddled against a tree. He heard a voice, "Hello. Sedwick Noname, do not be afraid. I wish to befriend you." Sedwick quickly ran to meet the voice, but saw nothing when he reached the source."Up here, silly!"He heard the voice again. He looked up and saw the source in a tree on a branch. It was a Yellowbird. He scurried up to see her. "Hello, Sedwick. My name is Korona, and I am of the Yellowbird Fallen.I have been watching you, hunting and fishing, and I must say you are some type of Warrior. We Yellowbird Fallen are assembling Footsoldiers for our next battle, which is just too soon. We have gone to war with Drendia, and we have lost many. We need Footsoldiers to invade the King's Office. We would like to put you on our Elite Squad of Footsoldiers. Consider this a proposal, and meet me here this time tomorrow with your answer."
