The Right Path

"Follow your heart,"
my dream said to me.
"I will show you the path
on which you should be."
Curious,
I followed my heart
and was led down a road
at the end of the road... a part.
I ask my heart
which way 1 should go
and it says unto me
"Trust me, you'll know"
"Do not be led down the path of TEMPTATION . my heart said to me then.
"I will show you then path."
my heart said again.
"A path you will follow
one which you will know.
Follow that path
and see where you'll go."
First 1 look left
and what do 1 see?
The path of Temptation
calling to me.
What was it my heart said to me
about Temptation?
1 cannot recall
for this wonderful sensation.
"Do not be led down the path of TEMPTATION"
a familiar voice said to me.
down this path, 1 should not be.
Turning right,
down the opposite road
a better feeling than could ever be told.
Ive been here before!
I said nervous and loud
But then up ahead,
an all too familiar crowd.
Come and Join us, weve been waiting.
The crowd called to me
I tell my heart
Nor is this the place I should be.
I begin to back away
But TEMPTATION is closing in behind me;
As I begin to cry, I drop to my knees and pray.
God,
Please help me along.
Please help to a place in which I belong.
Soon I wake up
And what do I see?
Im in my favorite place.
Home- my favorite place to be.
