It's not a secret .... God is going to one day totally end sin (for eternity) and re-create everything physical (order of the cosmos) ... and he will move His heavenly kingdom to earth for eternity ... sin will never rise again. Right now we have access to His heavenly kingdom spiritually.

God created the world and everything in it. ( Ps. 24: 1) He never gave it away, however it is rebellious rulership that is being addressed. (1 Cor. 15: 24 & 25)

Like Lord Jesus said, no man knows the day or the hour of Christ's future coming, not even The Son knows, but The Father only. And people think they can make God hurry up? What vanity! The events God gave His Word about the end of this world MUST take place as written, like He said. THAT... is what Christ's servants are to be 'watching', not some fake holy man that thinks he can hurry up the time.

The `sheep and goats` are the nations. The Body of Christ is the ekklesia, the CALLED OUT ONE FROM THE NATIONS.

God delineates the difference - `Give no offence, either to the Jews or to the Greeks, (nations) or to the church of God.` (1 Cor. 10: 32)

That's exactly what I've been doing sister, exhorting the brethren to be 'watching' those Signs Lord Jesus 'commanded' us to watch leading up to His future return. And that's actually what Apostle Paul was pointing to in the 1 Thessalonians 5 Scripture you quoted that Christ's coming "as a thief" is not supposed take those who 'watch'... by surprise. Paul called Jesus' Signs of the end there "the times and the seasons", and he was pulling from the Old Testament prophets with that. Lord Jesus in His Olivet discourse did much of the same thing, pulling from His OT prophets many of the Signs He first gave them, and then gave more detail about them in Matthew 24, Mark 13, and Luke 21.

The reason is the mystery that was given to Paul while in prison, and this truth can only be found in His post acts epistles. This is why in those epistles there is no mention of the coming, but the appearing, there is no mention of the tribulation and the coming man of sin, but rather the spiritual forces of darkness and the prince of the power of the air (search and see). The promises of the body are before the call of Abraham, are calling concerns our manifestation in the heavens with Christ (figured by Enoch). Our working service is for the appearing of Christ in the heavenlies by our walk (Gen.5:24; Phil.3:14; Eph.4:1) in this we will be the offering to God "holy and without blemish" for His theophany in the person of Christ, for the appointed seasons, and we will partake in that glory as his exalted image. There were always offerings to be made for the appearing of God's presence at the times appointed (during the feasts, which have prophetic meaning of Israels national redemption and the establishment of Gods kingdom).

The final symbolic "one week" of Daniel 9:27 is... involved in Christ's warnings with the Signs of the end He commanded us to be watching, leading up to His future return. The Daniel 11 "abomination of desolation" Jesus also warned about for the end just prior to His future return.

I don't adhere to all that Dispensationalist crap about Paul's Epistles. Lord Jesus chose Apostle Paul to write the majority of the New Testament Books. And the only "mystery" Paul spoke of was how The Gospel going to the Gentiles and their being included in Abraham's inheritance wasn't known until Jesus died on the cross, and The Holy Spirit revealed to the early Apostles and disciples. Yet Paul did mention the "mystery of iniquity" in his 2 Thessalonians 2 Epistle, which does cover the end times "man of sin" coming to play God in a rebuilt temple in Jerusalem, working great signs and lying wonders to deceive with. That's simply the same "another beast" of Rev.13 that does those things during the "great tribulation" at the end of this world.

Jesus foretold of the "great tribulation" at the end. Apostle Paul simply used other descriptions about that future time of "great tribulation", like his warnings about the great falling away and that false one's working in 2 Thess.2. Paul also hinted at that false one coming as the "another Jesus" in 2 Corinthians 11. And in 1 Thessalonians 5, Paul was pulling from the Old Testament prophets about events involving the end of this world just prior to Christ's return.

well ... not sure .... we might be saying the same thing.

The called out ones (sheep) are from all the different nations (the saved) ... the goats (also from all the different nations) are the lost.

Jews and Greeks are not nations .... besides that we are told there isn't any Jews or Greeks all are one in Christ Jesus.

My point .... there will be lost and saved from all nations .... and the lost are goats and the saved are the sheep from all nations.

1 Cor. 10: 32

In context .... is talking about food sacrificed to idols (known or unknown) if known don't eat it .... if unknown let each one's conscience be their guide and don't quibble about it .... futile to quibble about something unknown and therefore creates a stumbling block.

"the church of God" are neither Jews or Greeks, because all are one in Christ Jesus .... one group (sheep from all the nations) ... those in Him called out from all the nations (Ekklēsia-sheep)

Revelation 22:2

Each of us will be judged and all were/are from various nations .... according to Revelation (above) the nations will stay in tact (all the saved sheep from all the various nations) same with the lost (goats from the various nations)

Just in case some are not told about the idea of "nations" still existing in the world to come, and even in the new heavens and a new earth future time, see Zechariah 14 which is for after Christ's future return. Also see the end of Isaiah 19, where God reveals that Israel, Assyria, and Egypt will each be one third in His future Kingdom here on earth. And see Ezekiel 37 which is about God rejoining the two 'houses' of Israel that He split into two nations at 1 Kings 11, back into 'one nation' again, in the lands He promises their fathers, and that means all 12 tribes of Israel rejoined there.

Per Psalms 2 and Revelation 20, Jesus at His future coming, with His faithful elect, will reign over the "nations" in the world to come.

Thus the idea of some dream-like-living on clouds in Heaven existence with no earth that some deceived folks preach is so far away from what God and His Son have declared in His Word, that the true believer on Christ ought to have enough sense to know where and who those lies are coming from.

Didn't say he gave it away .... God originally gave dominion (kingship) over planet earth to Adam .... he sinned and rulership (dominion) of planet earth was usurped by satan .... God allowed this .... not without some limitations at times ... of course everything belongs to God ... and it can not be taken away.

God is in total control.

People don't like this statement .... because they question how can God allow the atrocities to happen. For one ... it's not just about us.
Before war broke out in heaven there was total peace .... then satan started telling lies about God (in heaven) and this created confusion and division among the heavily host and there ended up being a separation (by their choice) with 1/3 of the angels siding with satan (they sinned against God and did not repent) . Really no difference of what has and is going on ...... on earth. People making decisions stand with God .... or not from the beginning to the end. So God cast satan and the 1/3 to the earth (this ended the war in heaven... total peace restored in heaven) .... after the fall of Adam .... planet earth became the battlefield and dominion of the earth was forfeited and given to satan. The angels left in heaven had no idea about the effects of sin ..... they have learned about that by observing what mankind has and is going through.

Secondly .... the angels did not know anything about the plan of salvation ... nothing about the gospel. So them questioning .... what is that? (the gospel) They like looking into the matter to understand it.

1 Peter 1:12

12It was revealed to them that they were not serving themselves, but you, when they foretold the things now announced by those who preached the gospel to you by the Holy Spirit sent from heaven. Even angels long to look into these things.

All of God's intelligent created beings have been put into the position of experiencing the devastating effects of sin ... and put in the position of choice.

Atrocities - We must not forget .... even though there is great tribulation in the world and atrocities that God has the power of resurrection and re-creation ..... and in the very end .... He will make everything "right" according to His perfect sovereign judgement. Until then many battles, calamities and atrocities here on planet earth. Not at all to make light of it .... but .... it's not so much about this world and what happens (although they hurt our hearts and also hurts God's heart) but rather about people making choices that will determine everlasting life ..... or not.

There IS a better world coming! AMEN! A world without sin ... I look forward to that day!!!!! Thank you Jesus.

Back to Jews and gentiles being nations ..... we are told all are one in Christ Jesus .... (neither greek of jew, neither male or female) Gentiles were and are from many nations. Jesus IS Israel ... His people. (Israel of God)

People are free to convert into Judaism; once converted, they are considered the same as if they were born Jewish (and can be from any nation).
