Dear h-man: Yes, our Father, Abba, does indeed desire all mankind to come unto Him. As the sovereign Lord of the universe His desires are always met! ALWAYS! "He is the mercy seat for our sins, and not for our sins only, but for the sins of the whole world."
It is no wonder that you are so mixed up and confused when you say The Father is the mercy seat!
It is the Redemption Through the Blood of Christ, not the blood of God, to whom the blood sacrifices were made.
