The Reformed and prayer - resources?

I've been asked some very good (and tough,) questions about prayer from a reformed perspective. I found Pinks, "THE SOVEREIGNTY OF GOD," chapter nine is a great resource.

But, it's kind of a tough read in some places. I was wondering if anyone knew of any resources (preferably online,) where this same great information is addressed in a modern, more practical way.
