The sin unto death is blasphemy blaming attributing to GOD what should not be attributed to GODThe sin unto death sir would be to say that satan had the power in the situation not God.
ie:unbelief
Ok we've heard what you believeDi not concern yourself with me Cassia
Concern yourself with yourself. I know what I know and I understand what I know
It is very easy to have faith when all things are going well
Another things when all things appear to be out of control
It is then that we have to walk by mature and steadfast faith directed in and on HIM not fully understanding and seeing where our feet are taking us
But trusting that He who began the good work in us will bring it to completion provided we remain in HIM and do not go out from the "city of" REFUGE which GOD has provided in HIS SON
and it's what Job propheciedOk we've heard what you believe
Job did not barter with GODan interesting link on why you can't barter with God

Why does it matter whether or not we can barter with God? Because if we can’t barter with Him, that means we have to accept His terms. We can’t entice Him with our offers. We can only accept His offers. He is not impressed by our promises of service or obedience and will not respond to them. But He, of His own will, determined to offer us a relationship with Him as a gift on the basis of faith in Jesus Christ. We must submit ourselves fully to Him, offering our lives to Jesus as Lord. And He promises to give us eternal life—a relationship with Him.
God is the one who establishes what He will do and what we will do, and we either accept or reject those terms. But we can’t try to change the terms to something we prefer—you can’t barter with God.
All of Job's friends were barterers. His wife was a fatalist. Still not the point of the story but merely backdrops to what is going on all around us.
The abiding is what matters and that is a process of sanctification now.
I will rephrase the questionCassia,
What do you mean by "abiding/remaining" in Christ?
GOD was not the orchestrator of Job's sufferingan interesting link on why you can't barter with God

Job did not barter with GOD
Who are you attributing this to?
Who barters with GOD?
If anything those who abide in Christ who will face trials and tribulations are more supposed to come to the understanding that HE is sovereign and in control in all seasons
Who is it that you are identifying here as barterers but those who do not know GOD. Period
Who said anything about bartering with GOD? Who even suggested this?
Abiding looks like one hidden in ChristI will rephrase the question
What does "abiding/remaining" in Christ look like.
Get over yourself and quit putting words in my mouthGOD was not the orchestrator of Job's suffering
So, how did God answer Job's questions in the "whirlwind speech" at the end of the book?
Have you been launderedAbiding looks like one hidden in Christ
I don't think God really did.It seems to me he responded with more or less, "Who are you to question what I do?" and left it at that. That is the answer I got out of His response. So, how did God answer Job's questions in the "whirlwind speech" at the end of the book?
Either.The Reason Why Job Suffered?
The title of your thread caught my eye. The question you ask, is a curious one, however.
Are you asking why Job suffered, from GOD'S perspective, or Job's?
Thank you kindly.
The same goes for you who said "we know what you believe"Get over yourself and quit putting words in my mouth
And we will go through unanswered trials until we do recognize and accept that God alone has the right to be in control of--every thing, and not us. We have no right to determine what is to happen, even in our own lives. We willingly gave up that right when we accepted salvation through Jesus Christ, His Son. Sometimes we determine to take it back in a certain area. God sees that and knows its not for our own good, so sends us through trials. Essentially He's telling us, you WILL learn this lesson for your own good even if it breaks My heart and takes your entire life of suffering, it will be for My glory!I often get tired of wondering why God does things. I end up so worn out that I just say God is control, not me, and if he kills me then he kills me, if he gives me life then he gives me life. Who am I to war against God? I hope in his righteousness, his mercy.
Either.
Job's friends were a type of Satan. He tried bartering with Jesus Christ. He tries to barter with believers. (No need to barter with what you already own--unbelievers.)an interesting link on why you can't barter with God
