I didn't vote. I believe all three options are based on an eschatology that tries to answer questions that aren't our responsibility to answer. The one area where scripture is clear with regard to timing is that the timing is in God's hands, not ours. It will happen when it happens.

Would you like to elaborate:

-WHY-?

P.i.C.

Well, I hadn't planned on saying much, but I will alittle bit.
One reason is that of immenancy; the pre-trib view is really the only one where you have know clue when it will take place.
Another is that the Antichrist won't be revealed until the Holy Spirit is removed.
The church is only in the beginning of Revelation. & After that John is taken up to watch the rest of it unfold.

This is how God has worked since Noah's time. Enoch was taken. Noah was preserved through. The unbelievers killed.

Lot was told to get the heck out of Dodge so the angels could do their work. It was clear that the angels couldn't do their work unless righteous Lot was taken out.

Daniel was mysteriously missing during the Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego business.

I also believe that the Church will be taken before He pours out His wrath on the planet.

It's really simple. Jesus loves us and wants us to be with him. John 17:24 - "Father, I will that they also, whom thou hast given me, be with me where I am; that they may behold my glory, which thou hast given me: for thou lovedst me before the foundation of the world."

He's going to take us to be with him. Then, he's going to punish the unbelieving world and preserve the remnant of Israel.

I voted pre-trib also. Mostly because this is what Jesus himself taught. He talked quite a bit about the signs of the end of the age, and things leading up to His Second Coming in the parallel passages of Matthew 24 and Luke 21. Very intense descriptions of the tribulation period. To be sure, Jesus teaches that we will need to persevere in the days leading up to the tribulation. Luke 21:12, 17 "But before all these things, they will lay their hands on you and persecute you, delivering you up to the synagogues and prisons. You will be brought before kings and rulers for My name’s sake." "And you will be hated by all for My name’s sake."

Then He follows it up with an admonition in Luke 21:36.

"Watch therefore, and pray always that you may be counted worthy to escape all these things that will come to pass, and to stand before the Son of Man."

Notice that He says "escape all these things that will come to pass." Not persevere through these things, not hold fast to the faith through these things.

This falls right in line with the teaching of Paul to the Thessalonians in 1 Thes. 5:9.

"For God did not appoint us to wrath, but to obtain salvation through our Lord Jesus Christ."

And also with the letter Jesus instructed John to write to the church at Philadelphia in Rev. 3:10.

"Because you have kept My command to persevere, I also will keep you from the hour of trial which shall come upon the whole world, to test those who dwell on the earth."

It is my constant prayer that I will indeed be found "worthy to escape," and I hope it is yours as well.

I'd have to say post. As for whether or not there will be a physical tribulation period that lasts a certain amount of years, I don't know. I tend to see the tribulation as the time when each person is on earth and when they have to endure the troubles of life. But of course, I could be wrong. I am also amillenial.

I voted Post-Trib

(I USED to be a pre-tribber)

In my opinion:

What's in the above quotes, is a

FALSE INTERPRETATION of Scripture:

In the greek, Scripture says NOTHING about the Holy Spirit being taken out of the way,

rather, Paul tells us that The Great Falling Away, is what restrains the man of sin.

(more on this, later)

I'm curious what made you a pre-tribber in the first place and then what changed your mind?

Pre-trib. We are taken into the air with Him when He returns like a thief in the night, no one knows when. The world suffers for 7 years and then Jesus comes to reign on earth for 1,000 years of peace before it is all over for good! It's all there in Revelation.

God Bless!
