CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

I agree...doesn't matter what someone has...it's the heart behind it...actually my favorite group of people has always been the "underdogs" of the world...the people that folks kind of neglect or disregard because of looks or social status or whatever...some of them can be the most amazing people...someone's gotta love 'em...

Oh man I was in horrible depression from about January to April...it was horrible...I tried everything to pull out of the depression and I just couldn't. It gets me down SO bad...bah...

Well, it is one reason I was here a lot...and I worked a lot too...I made it through...obviously...but it was really bad...I don't want to feel that again...truth be told I'm pretty scared of it...

No it's just as bad...doesn't matter how warm I get. It's being trapped inside...the cold activates my Asthma...not to mention my body hurts a lot in winter...and then it getting dark at 3:30 here...just...I don't know...sorry I know this is sounding all depressed but it really does scare me...I was in such a bad place last winter.

I can understand about being inside and all...but if you're dressed really warm and go out, is that ok?
I've noticed when I have bad coughs or chest congestion, the cold actually helps soothe my chest...but it sets you off?
You don't have to apologize, it's ok...not everybody likes cold weather...

Yeah the cold sets me off...doesn't matter how well I'm dressed...it's the cold air...it's weird. I'm ok going out for a few minutes, I just can't run or do anything like that because the exercise in the cold air gets to me...I have to be really careful...that's what almost killed me so many times when I was a teen...would go outside, go sledding or just play outside for a few, then later that night end up in the hospital.
The mountains here make it get darker faster...it sucks...3:30 and it looks like it's pretty much night time...the sun goes behind the high mountains and it's over.

I forgot about the mountains and plus it gets darker for you sooner than for us...

Yeah, that's what I usually do...that keeps me safe thankfully.
I think what really gets me is the dark...more than the cold it's the dark...
