  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

It's unusual for me too lol it's taken a lot of adjustment on my part but people change and that's ok...I've had to learn to roll with it, and it was a good lesson for me...needed to learn it...

Can't really say...and what I mean by that is I don't know how to explain it. I know in the past year or so, my relationship with her has changed a lot...it'd been coming for a while...and it was hard at first but I'm ok with it now. We're still really close...but in a much better way...it's all good!

Yep...another thing I can't really put into words. All I can think of is Ecclesiastes where it talks about a season for everything...we're still great friends...I was kinda codependent there for a while though...so now it's much more balanced...healthier...for that I am grateful...I am grateful she stuck with me through it all...helped me to see clearly and get my head on straight...something I'd needed for YEARS...

Trust me, she's anything BUT an afterthought...he never shuts up about her but that's a good thing lol he's so sweet on her and I love it...it's actually inspired me to be better in my own marriage...they're the real deal too. It's cool to learn from so many different people and different relationships...I just love that God knows what He's doing...because I'm completely clueless :doh:

Actually, it's that God shines brilliantly through her.....she really IS a light shining in darkness.....

if what you say is true, why would you be less close than before? She would be a spiritual blessing, wouldn't she?
