The Purpose of my life

To daily deepen my understanding and knowledge of God's Word, pray constantly and live in faith according to Gods Will. To be therefore the best person I can be towards everyone and to be right in tune with God.

Previously I used to be lost, groundless and actually a horrible person. I used to suffer depression as I had no idea what purpose my life served. Now, though I do suffer in life, I have the antidote, I bring myself back to the right path whenever I stray, which of course I do daily. Prayer, prayer, prayer. With reading my Christian books alongside the Bible. Best medicine for all ills!

Any atheists here, take notice. You have nothing because you choose to reject Christ our Lord. He is waiting for you with open arms. Why do you think of every possible reason to walk away from Him?

Once you understand, you understand it all. Every word in the scriptures comes alive. But we each come to this place of truth in our own time. It usually takes great pain to finally humble us, crack our pride and arrogance. I am so glad and thrilled to have been broken by life then built up again by Jesus , through I hasten to add, it's an on going process. My life is in Jesus hands. Never alone again no matter what.
so life has huge purpose daily and that surely is the most healthy way to be. It's wonderful!

Hi Lilly, your thread title and OP (excellent OP, BTW ) reminded me of these two quotes, so I thought that I'd post them.

Hi Lilly, it's not a book, it's part of The Westminster Standards which you can find here for free. The Westminster Standards include both the Shorter and Larger Catechisms, and, of course, The Westminster Confession of Faith itself.

It's all there (and more) at the link I provided.
