The Purpose Driven Life

My church was about to start a 6 week study in the PDC. I bought the PDL book but never got into it...just never set right with me. When I heard that we were about to do this study I was less than thrilled. I'm thankful for having this here. My pastor is becoming more & more calvinistic in his view of scripture or perhaps better said I'm able to understand his views now more & more. I sent the articles to him and he's excited to talk about this with me. Ever since I found calvinism we have had some great discussions.

now that I know my pastor is Calvinist, I'm really able to understand more what he preaches on, and alot of what he's said in the past makes more sense to me now. I also know that I don't have to second guess what he may mean about some things.... it's soooo nice.....

Our pastor pretty much ignored the packaged sermon outlines and did his own thing on the topic for the week.

I just about always throw out the packaged sermon outlines.

Right now, I'm fairly sick of hearing "Purpose Driven" this and "Purpose Driven" that. Enough is enough.......

I guess I can agree with you there!
