True but they also shouldn't expect irresponsibility to vanish with the flick of a pill. Except for the genetically born destined to be hefty where even a pill won't work, most reap what they have spent decades sowing with poor eating habits. Sad but true. People fuss about this and expect a quick turn around but then why are no one questioning the rise in the last month of unexpected deaths to have soared to 30% higher than expected in all age groups? You'd think that would be large on the minds of everyone, but no the media and others focus on salvaging a life of poor eating choices, and worse yet ignore it is the food industry that has caused it. Create a problem then profit from not a cure or a change to the system, but a treatment. Snake oil.An obese person in their 60's who's a few weeks away from a heart attack doesn't have the luxury of waiting 2 years to reap the benefits of a drastic diet change, nor do they have the option of strenuous exercise at the gym (as that itself could cause a heart attack for a person in their situation)
