I agree with all of this - up to the point of whose business it is. Nearly all circumcision in performed on extremely young babies. There is a school of thought, which emerged out of the modern revulsion about female genital mutilation, that circumcision is mutilation too. Just saying.My only real point here is that I don't think saying The Catholic Church is the reason for modern circumcision in the West is a valid argument. Especially given that, generally, Catholicism has historically frowned on circumcision because of historic theological and religious issues that go back to the earliest years of Christianity, when there were still ongoing debates among Christians over whether Christians are obligated to observe Jewish laws or not; with circumcision being one of the big ones.
And my own (granted, meager) reading on the history of the topic tends to suggest that modern medical circumcision (as opposed to religious circumcision) is 1) mostly American and 2) a result of early 20th century medical views.
To focus on the topic on the whole: It's not my business what people do with their bodies, whether it is cosmetic surgery or something else. The only caveat would involve the subject of self-harm; if a person is engaging in self-harm then we should focus on helping them find healing for the emotional traumas and injuries they have experienced. Whatever personal opinion I, or anyone else, has over something like tattoos, piercings, cosmetic surgery, or the like is completely meaningless--because it's not my business.

I had a friend that had small breasts so she did it after some time she had no feelings in her front areas at all, and they also started to leak. Why on earth should we change what God made. I'm highly allergic and very fair skin to the point of redness. I can't do tattoos. But I wouldn't anyway. 2. 1 Corinthians 6:19-20: "Do you not know that your bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit, who is in you, whom you have received from God? You are not your own; you were bought at a price. Modesty has nothing to do with what you put or don't put over your body. It's a state of the heart. The original word for 'modesty' is 'kosmios', which is where the words 'cosmos' and 'cosmetics' originate from. It is possible to wear nothing at all and behave in an orderly manner, just as much as it is possible to be fully dressed or partly dressed and behave in a disorderly manner.There are women that are modest and try to cover up a bit. Even my wife does not wear a bathing suit. If she goes swimming she wears a tee shirt and shorts. John Wesley said his biggest mistake was not to teach people to be more modest. There is a time and a season for everything.
