It helps...so would you say that sins somewhat restrict emotional gratification?
That what is sinful often causes guilt in a Christian.
However, one must be very careful how one defines what sin is.
Only Biblical definitions need to be consulted because it is very easy to bend the stick in either direction.

Some might say that having some wine is sin and some might say that same sex relation is not sin.
Both are wrong as far as the Biblical definitions for sin are.

Guilt is a warning signal that something is wrong. A red flag.

If you have a direct question please do ask.
If you feel uncomfortable asking in public you could have a private thread in MSC where you could ask senior staff member from Admin and up anything you want.

I am an Admin so you could ssk for me if you wish.

Thanks, :)
In Christ,

Beloved, let us love one another: for love is of God; and every one that loveth is begotten of God, and knoweth God. He that loveth not knoweth not God; for God is love. 1Jn 4:7-8

Those verses sum up Christian doctrine in my opinion. God is love.

I am aware of many beliefs and principles that Christians support and have. However, I'm trying to recognize principles that all, if not, at least most Christian hold along with their religion. What are these principles other than the 10 commandments?

1) God
2) Others
3) Self

I may be paraphrasing but I believe this is how Christ summed it all up. Pretty simple, cuts through all the religiosity and condemnation.
